Hey everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself.

My artist name is Ahmenus, and I have been drawing well ...since Ninja Turtles came out in 1987? I have hobbies of collecting action figures (mainly nice detailed ones, I have all of the Resident Evil 1-2 series action figures for example) and comic books (mainly spawn and spider-man) but also I do things like videos. (I was like two then or three lol...) I am not the artist I should be atm because though I draw I found it hard for myself to focus on it. Usually my themes for comics are Sci-Fi (which are mainly full of adult themes so if you are young or don't like adult themes, I wouldn't bother looking at anything I create) and old school fantasy (like with elves etc, except my characters are not elves, I think).

I had lots of art but since I bought my new PC, I haven't purchased my new scanner so I am currently making 3D/Photoshop adult themed comics. It was a hobby I picked up around 02-03 and dropped it but I have recently started back up on it. I am not sure how people feel about 3D comics but I try to give them a comic book feel and not just throw characters straight from the renders onto a page. I use Poser because it helps me visually with my hand drawn art because of it's unique 3D models. I am going to be working hard this year to get where I need to be with my art by taking trade school classes to fully use 3D and 2D techniques in comics. No joke.

Anyways, if my web comic is published here (I recently registered) it is titled Destination Venus (it is adult (VERY ADULT)) but I censored things about still to be safe. I don't know what the policy about comics like the ones I do is since I can't find none but I saw that if you have Ghastly's I assume mine would be fine. Just waiting for that password :P

Anyways good to be here.

UNIQUE 3D models? I think you have the wrong word there. Ahem. But it sounds like you're using 3D for more than just 'it's faster and I don't have to learn to draw' so who knows, you might end up with something great! I wihs you the best of luck. Anyway, I've read one 3D comic that takes the models and gives it a new, comic book type feel--Twilight Lady--and it looks both visually unique and facinating, so sounds like you have an interesting idea here. Good luck!

And yeah, I think ComicGenesis hosts a few adult comics... Ghastly for one... Monster Lover is another... VERY NSFW! Don't worry about having to censor it, as long as you have a splash page or something, it should be good.

HI! ^_^

My name is Kevin, I have a very irregularly and slowly updating webmanga. Most of my project though is with my e-library (online publishing). It's in my signature.

I've got a board game patented, and so I had to create a LLC - NInja Nezumi Productions (TM), L.L.C. - to protect it even more. It's covered in 3 countries atm. I did it to save the tigers ^_^

My application was initially approved for cg.com, but then I noticed there might be a problem so I am talking with teh bossgal and am waiting to see if it's still ok to have my library and related projects linked from comicgenesis (legally I cannot move my stuff to the comic genesis servers), but because of the new rule on domain parking it looks like it might not happen, but that's ok ^_^ I'm not upset, I know why you had to institute the rule. But it's still nice saying hi to you guys ^_- I'll gladly trade links with anyone if they want.

^_^ so in the immortal words of Dr. Nick "Hi, Everybody!"

Here's a secret: you won't get a ton of traffic from ComicGenesis anyway, if you were looking for a mirror for traffic purposes, DrunkDuck's the way to go. ComicGenesis is a good beginning host due to its nearly unlimited options but it's not really going to drive much traffic to your site.

Nice to meet you! ^_^ Couldn't find your webmanga, though. Your site is pretty messy. If you've got a comic you should work on making it the first thing people see--not a confuzzling splash page. Man, and here I'm just in this thread to find new comics. =(

Also, if you had a comic on CG, and linked to your library, there'd be nothing wrong with that. I have links to other sites plastered over my CG page. =P

Metruis, HI!:D Nice to meet you too ^_^

My webmanga is on hiatus in order to finish The Library (has been since November) so I have my comedy piece "A Blank Page" taking up the front page of http://pandaking.ninjanezumiproductions.com Just click the side bars for navigation of my comic :) I will remove that whole "Gentlemen Behold" and Blank Page nonsense as soon as I'm finished with the big March update (I'm doin something special) :D So yes, I do hear what you're saying about navigation, and it will be back to normal soon :D I won't leave the front page of pandaking as messy as it is right now :D
Also, if you had a comic on CG, and linked to your library, there'd be nothing wrong with that. I have links to other sites plastered over my CG page. =P
This is actually what I pmmed Kisai about and am awaiting her decision on the matter. It's kinda complicated because by itself, my webmanga does not fulfill the 20 page requirement on its own and neither does my update schedule. I realized that because of what I have to do concerning my Board Game and my eLibrary, that PandaKing by itself will not be updated anymore frequently than once a month at best :( (unless someone is willing to sign a work for hire agreement and become my artist for like almost nothing :o ). For you see, PandaKing is really a small portion of the Panada Universe :D

I draw really slow and my migraines can shut me down for an entire week at a time :(

However if it doesn't work out that's fine, I won't be upset :) Thank you though for information on DrunkDuck. Should this not work out I'll see them. It's so difficult finding a webring community that supports what I'm doing. I'm really trying to revolutionize the concept of ePublishing, but it is hard to find a platform on which to build up readership. Some people say they don't like it that my site isn't in standard html, or pdf, or that I don't have enough comic content.

You could also try installing Comicpress if you're trying to host your comic on your own site. ComicGenesis is nice because it's just a few tags and you have an easily navigatable comic standard. (shrugs) But Comicpress works nicely too, for one.

There's a 20 page requirement for ComicGenesis? That's strange, I joined with far less than 20 pages in my archive. :P I believe you just need 20 to make a forum to promote it on this forum here.

Kisai said I can have my comic here even with only 5 current pages and it's ok if I update once a month so that takes a lot of grief and anxiousness off :D yay :D

kisai is 100% awesome ^_^

Hai! :D
I'm Nary, one of the crazy Riders of the Storm members. There's actually three of us, but I'm the only one who updates my stories and comics regularly so... yeah. Maybe eventually I can get one of the other insane people to put something up on here but that's not likely *shrug*
Most of the storylines and art I put up are based off of the ongoing Roleplay I have with my two other friends, and are mainly back stories and histories of the world its set in, though they can easily be read without any prior knowledge to the RPG itself :3
Sadly, I have some trouble updating alot cause I'm in school, and I have the worst memory EVER. But that's okay.

As far as social life I'm a general recluse, unless I am at my second home, a war gaming store called "Phoenix Games". I play alot of Warhammer, and Lord of the Rings there, and enjoy painting the miniatures, and the company it provides. Finding a community of other artists that I can hang out with is pretty awesome :D

So, that's it. Not much else to say :]

Well, then, welcome! I used to love Lord of the Rings to a million teeny tiny pieces. It was really one of the first fantasy fandoms I ever had, and definately got me into writing about it. :)

I'm Q, I've been doing webcomics since 2000 or so. I'm just your average amputated, red-headed Canadian freak who draws and writes and crap. I've returned to your community because my comic is getting a fresh start and I want to play with you guys.

I'm new here, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm about to start a pretty traditional newspaper adventure strip in the spirit of 1980's space strips. Just waiting for the ftp and address to start working. I'll probably plug the series a bit more when I have something up to show people.

Nice to be a part of this.
