Siteadmin login issues

Post by Ash-Luscombe »

Hey guys,

I don't know whether it is my own stupidity or if I have skipped over something in one of the email but I can not for the life of me add my comic after loging in to siteadmin, I have tried multiple times to change my password for my little ftp username thingy but I get a message saying that it doesn't exist.

Is the problem that I have to wait for another confirmation email, or that I've just screw balled it up?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ash.

Hey, I'm having the same problem. I got an email telling me my comic was activated and giving me my FTP name - but no password. I assumed it would be the same as the forum password, but it's not. I've tried everything I can think of but nothing works. The email includes a link to change my FTP password, but it requires an activation code which I don't have!

If anyone figures this out, please let me know. Thanks!

You guys should probably visit the "verified, but no password email" thread up at the top. If you post there, redwolf will check it out for you.

I have no idea what made it work, but I eventually got the password reset to a random string by fiddling around with it. After that, it let me change the password to whatever I wanted and I could login from there. I wonder if it was just a temporary glitch?

Either way, I'm in now - thanks for the advice, Wendy!
