I shall answer the skull question!

I have read or seen several stories/comics where a vampire, when killed, automatically degrades to the point their body would be if they had died instead of becoming a vampire. I think this is a fabulous idea, thus I am using it here.

For the Colly dying if Faylin (or any of his other vampires) dies, I think that'll be answered eventually, maybe so you'll just have to wait on that.

And as for Colly being unconscious, if it is not abundantly clear at the end of the Auron scene, then leave another message, and I'll answer then. = )
