Some people are annoyed to high hell by it. Regardless, it's just something I've always done. An attempt to stand out, I suppose. As obnoxious as it is.

I don't find it annoying, but light green text on light blue background impedes reading. I'm just tempted to skip the posts. So to me it's not so much standing out as fading away... but to each their own.

Oh, concerning your "lysdexia" when typing your username - if it bothers you, it can be changed. Send a PM to forum admin Mercury Hat and ask nicely; that does the trick AFAIK.

Hmm, I see your point. Perhaps this color is more readable. And the name doesn't really bother me too much.

That reminds me of this one guy on another forum that wold occasionally post weird passive aggressive comments in white so no one could read them unless they were highlighted. But he forgot that the forum had several skins to choose from, and when using the black theme, it was even more readable than the regular yellow text.

The either green works for me since I use the pink theme.

There are three themes to choose from. Personally, I prefer the default.

I think I prefer the default, as well. The pink one aligns everything to the right, which totally threw me off.
