Just two: in the cartilage of each ear. I had a one on the lobe of my left ear at one point, but it closed up. I have thick lobes anyway, so I don't really miss it.

The ear will repair itself and fill the hole if you dont keep the piercing in i think.

I do like you piercings though.

Not really. But if you don't clean it and they get infected, it'll hurt like bastard.

Cartilage piercings take longer to heal, but are less likely to close up.

Interestingly, I found that after riding my bike in the loop in Chicago, cars are not the problem. Pedestrians are, especially out-of-towners.
