I know of a few spacers who also like them but I don't know anyone around me that's even heard more than just one week. I had a friend over a while ago who said to me "But they haven't done anything since then right?" sadness....

I hate it when people ask me what music I like :/ I never like anything anyones ever heard of
My favorite of theirs is 'Light up my room' (Really, the whole Stunt album. Oh, and 'Pinch Me.' Hell, that whole album, too...)

And me too with the Sims 2 (and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, and Zoo Tycoon, and WoW).

And Hobby Lobby. Or Michaels. ANY art supply or craft store, really. I spent so long in the yarn section of Michaels last week that I thought my two friends were gonna leave me in there. XD

I'm a Sims 2 player. Basically all I ever try to do is torture them. About all I can do is deprive them of their needs to torture them. I like to force them to fight and insult each other all the time if I can. I'll make a couple just so I can make them divorce or break up. I make them have 8 babies and then put all the infants outside in a windowless, doorless room with no floor and let them squirm in their own poo and pee and never let them sleep with the radio always on in the room. (I've got a mod that disables social services) I wish there was suicide in the Sims, and then I'd make the perants kill themselves in front of their kids. I've got a mod that lets me create "instant fire" so I can just place a blaze anywhere. That's fun for setting the kids on fire.

One time I created a family of one adult and as many babies as I could and had them move into an empty lot. I put a row of ten refrigerators down on the grass and that was ALL they had. They could eat so that they stayed alive,.. but that's it.

I wonder if anyone would make the mistake of assuming that they things I do in The Sims2 in any way reflects my behavior in real life?

I too knit, unless you meant you buy the yarn for some other purpose. There's a yarn store in Portland (Abundant Yarn, I believe?) with a foot spa. Knitting with the bubbles and heat on high is decadent enough to be a guilty pleasure.

My guilty pleasure as of late is just putting off homework by any means. I've got 4 weeks before I'm out of college and my brain has already shut down. I caught myself playing flash games online for a good hour or two even though I have multiple game systems sitting like 4 feet away...

That's not a pleasure, that is a lifestyle.

Basically all I ever try to do is torture them.
I had to stop playing Sims for a while because I thought it would be cute to set up my husband and I in a little house with modest income and watch them like goldfish/clones. The scary part was that our counterparts started fighting over all of the things we argue over in real life. My husband's sim was a slob, just like in real life, and my sim was constantly picking up after him, just like in real life. I freaked out and had to shut it off for a while.

Later I came back with cheat codes and gave them a mansion and a maid, and their marriage seemed to improve dramatically. Meanwhile, in real life, with no mansion and no maid, our marriage collapsed.

Kinda makes you feel like a character in someone else's simulation...

I've always said that our lives were just some crappy webcomic made by a deity that found out they didn't have what it takes to update consistently or how to write a cohesive story. It may as well be on indefinite hiatus.

Actually, none of mine are really 'guilty' pleasures...but since I don't have any of those really, I posted the non-guilty ones! XD

Ooh, and your posting that reminds me...I've gotta find my camera so I can show you those little pouches I've been making!

CBS put up a bunch of the StarTrek Original Series on their streaming service... so I've been watching that a lot.

Sci Fi Channel Original movies - specifically, the monster based ones. I do not seek them out, but once watched several of them as part of a marathon and now gleefully critique them in my head.

Thing is, nobody wants to hear a hazy, half-remembered amateur critique of DinoCroc.

Or even remember that DinoCroc exists.

I hate to admit it, but I watch every new cycle of America's Next Top Model. I'm also obsessed with bridal shows (I have a secret desire to be a wedding planner)
