I just hope they let me stimulate their economy a little before they run us out of town.

Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts OOC
HA! From the latest Palladium Newsletter...and it ships a day before my birthday!
NEW – Ships March 3, 2008
Dog Boys™ Playing Poker – A Rifts® Print
The signed prints came back from the artist this afternoon. Pre-orders ship on Monday.
The illustration is classic, funny and fantastic. This was one of the secret projects we’ve been talking about (with more in the works). We went wild over it, and we think you will too. Funny, beautifully rendered, a must for Rifts® fans everywhere!
A quiet night of fun, cheating and cards for a pack of Psi-Hounds at a Coalition Army barracks. A Psi-Stalker Pack Leader brings a bone and can of dog food. A poster of Emperor Prosek hangs from the wall. Epic.
Linky!

Sweet, Thunder! Thanks for the heads-up. Gonna have to buy me one of those.
Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts OOC
Hmmmm... Judging by our positions on the map, I don't think any of us near the Brodkil can see the Psi-Stalker medic, except maybe whatever the ***'s are standing next to the Red Barn.

The *** are the vehicles. there we some in the parking lot too but I didn't feel the need to map the parked cars and whatnot.
Rex can see the psi stalker if he wants because he actually was kind of moving towards the front of the building. I'll move him over

Also, Rex is trying to maintain a bit of distance from the Fennodi (I have no idea what that is by the way.
) and the Brodkil, and this way he can look over and see how the other Dog boy is too. Also...he can arguably smell the Psi-Stalker. They smell like licorice!

It's all a matter of taste. It IS kinda funny that the mage doesn't find the Psi-Stalker's appealing. Heh.
Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts OOC
Lol. Good point, Thunder. Hadn't thought of it that way. I've just always personally had an aversion to licorice ever since I was a kid.

Maybe subliminally I knew that...and it's made for eerie role-playing synergy! SPOOKY!
On another note...
Tom! For my birthday I bought myself Rifts Ultimate Edition, the Game Master Guide and the Juicer Uprisings. Just so you know.

Perception Roll! (1d20+3=9)
MAN what a bad roll. Guess Rex is more interested in the Psi-Stalker Doc.

Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts OOC
Well so much for that in game information! Heh.
Anybody want to say anything before the fennodi mosies on over?
*breaks down chuckling*
Yes, that is as long as I could go before saying "mosy". It's the cowboys.

Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts OOC
OK, so is anybody over there gonna talk to the medic or should Pedro do the talking?
I'm waiting for the conversation around the corner before I continue with the sheriff.

I think people thought there was more going on with Rex, Morgan, Karsh and the sheriff first. I'm sure they'll start posting now that they know they can!

It occurs to me that neither of the psychics is going to be too eager to speak to the psi-stalker doc.

Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts OOC
Could somebody post a bit on the look of the Fennodi, I never have time to get the book out these days when I'm at home.
Once you know what he looks like you'll be able to react to my next post accordingly.
Pedro is going to explain things by the way so don't worry about the IC thread dying off. It'll be back up soon.

Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts OOC
Hey Tom, since I picked up a copy of the Ultimate Edition I'll be writer's remorsing Rex to bring him in line with the new edition's rules, so some of my skills and whatnot might change.
In the plus column I get a +5 to perception and can take boxing! WOO! In the minus column H2H Martial Arts gets a downgrade to H2H Expert, and I might lose my truck. Boo.
I'll update my sheet and pm you with the changes this weekend.
Also, what book is the Fennodi in?
Since we can only place 10 URLs per message now, I had to move these ones here when I edited my character sheet.
SDC bonus for wrestling.4d6=15
Initial d6 for HP.1d6=5
Roll on height chart.2d10=7,2 or 72
PPE base. 3d6=16
Base SDC.3d6=11
Base ISP roll.1d6x10+ME stat=3
Starting cash in Black Market items.4d6x1000=18

The fennodi are in the New West.
I will be able to post a bit today since Pedro merely has to agree with Jane's statement.
I'll post the Deputy' entrance some time later
