No, it was one of them that asked. Think softer.

Since they are on a roadtrip Outside, and none has shown credentials from appropriate offices, they must be traitors. Shoot them. Besides, rumours are treason.

You assume they're on a road trip together, but they're each on separate road trips in separate cars, right?

So... I totaled my car yesterday.

Her name was Jinx, and she was a 1997 Ford Taurus SHO. I'd had her for nearly four years. She had some body damage, and I didn't keep her as clean as I should have, but dang it I was attached to that car. I was very, very fond of her. And now she's gone. It's weird, I feel so trapped, so alone. It's like part of my soul has been unplugged, some extension of me has been taken off the grid.

I mean, I know it was just a car, but man. This is a horrible feeling. I didn't fully appreciate how much that car meant to me until she was gone.

And you know the worst part? The wreck was my fault. I killed my car. I committed animistic manslaughter. As emo as it may be, I feel genuinely depressed right now.

Thanks for the sympathy (or empathy?). Sorry about the depressing nature of that post, it was a rather bad week. This one, however, seems to be a good one so far *knocks on wood.* I now know when I'll be deploying again, and it's far enough distant to justify getting another vehicle, so I'll probably be getting a hybrid vehicle this time. Love that good karma, and I've been wanting an Insight for years now. Since they first came out, as a matter of fact.

Anyway. Happy V for Vendetta day everyone. I make it a point to watch that movie every year on November 5th, and it gets me every time.

*spoiler-ish*

That scene where Evie is reading Valerie's letter, it's just beautiful. *sniff*

Have you read the graphic novel? It's also excellent. I thought that they did a great job on the movie as well. Very satisfying.

Someone mentioned to me around noon that it was Guy Faulk's (sp) Day, and I immediately busted out into the rhyme. He was kinda confused, because he'd never seen the movie before, but it was still good. Total strangers were either giving me the crazy eye or nodding in approval. We celebrated our ersatz Thanksgiving yesterday, which was kinda nice, as well as Independence Day for the country I'm in. Busy day!

I guess that would either be, "I'm in ur skyz stealin ur cowz" Or, "When ur dragon, you can has cheezburger"

You may have started the next fad for RPG playing internet nerds here.

Wow. Just... Wow. This is like one of the coolest never-gonna-get-showed commercials ever. Check it out, plzkthx.

XBOX 360 banned commercial.

No idea why they're not showing this.

That was cool. I do not see what it was banned for, though.
