Calling all European members
I've been talking with a few people, and we're tossing around a thought : The Euro Cookout. I'm not trying to get rid of the Yank version (Hey, I still intend to go), but us Euro members don't really meet up as often. So, as a question, which European members would be willing to travel for a large group meeting? Not even planning anything, we're just wondering.

I might, given enough time to prepare and take days off from work.

Well, I'd be happy to attend. I've been wanting to attend the US cookout for many a time, but it's too much travel for me, what with the big blue wet wobbly thing and all.
It'd be easy if it was in the UK, since there's a few of us Londoners, but I'd consider the possibility of travelling abroad if I could do it cheaply enough.

I could have a few people over at my place, throw some shit on a grill. YES. A DECEMBERIST GRILL. In all seriousness, I could fit... maybe 10 people in the living room, a bunch more outside. Its not a big house, but for a day or two of fun and games its suitable. I just need a good amount of warning so I can start DIYing around the house fixing things.

Well, just cause I like to get to know people, mind if I tag along for the december meetup?
Webcomix Thing time is generally good cookout time, since everyone is here for that. That said, it's pretty far off. Whenever we do it, I will be sure to make and bring cake. I've never made a cake before. I just had the urge to do it.

Sure Rickford!! As soon as my VISA gets through, I think I will make an itinerary and we will make solid plans..I think London or York would be perfect!Rickford wrote:Well, just cause I like to get to know people, mind if I tag along for the december meetup?

Europeans, which dates work for you? Specific-ish ones if you think you want the big meet up this December, or more general ones if you want to plan it for later next year, you know, January onwards.
Also, people who want to meet up on the lil' touristy thing when Amis Rusty and I go round the UK, tell us where and when you're available.
Lastly, we know that you know more UK members, fill them in on whats going on.
