I heartily recommend FINAL FANTASY : the spirits within : the Movie !!!YES YES YES ...Speically the hunkalicious Captian Edward Gray !!! YEAH .. this time it is so validated to fall in love with a animated chacrter coz he's SO REAL !!!!!Btw : I twisted my neck today .. no wait .. its sprained, which means I gotta wear this ridiculous Neck Brace *bah* :/ ... *grumble* ... so what if I couldnt do the stunt properly <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/frown.gif"> Yinn

Bah! Final Fantasy be a bump on my ass!Actually, it was absoloutely wicked slick, but the fantasy elements were slopily blended with the sci-fi to the point where it was annoying, and while the facial expressions were nearly perfect most of the time, the times they did fail were crucial.So

I think my reaction was more like, "Hey, wait a minute, there needs to be about half an hour more to this to explain what the hell just happened!"I won't describe the ending, but I was just plain confused at the end.

..Must controoollll selfff not to slllaaapp alllaaannn_ecckeerrrr ... !!!!!Grrr* I could have an argument begun here about the fantasy / sci fi elements used and involved and then divulge in to the Squaresoft's Company's history and track record with their writings ... and suffice to say it was attempting to pull off as a drama and a action movie ( which by all means is already difficult enough considering that "human" actors already botch and act badly hence the strong of B grade drama's and meaningless action flicks and the fact that is is a realistic ANIMATION cg attempt at a difficult genre of movie ( as opposed to comedy's ) .. the comparison seems totally unfair.
and HEY it was really their first attempt at a Movie, think about how great the Following moveis will be !!!----> *breathe in ,.. breathe out ... breahte in ... breathe out ..... !* at least the Lord of the Rings is coming out soon. Oh yeah .. Yeuch on Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone ... or something like that. nev'mind ... to each their own. But the Captain ( Edward Gray ) is still minE !---> and i think my neck's better .... i thinkYinn
