Ok, so every once in a while I look back through my sketchbooks and see something that makes me go "what the crap was I smoking?!??" when I see it. This is one of those sketches.

I have no explainations for this one. I *think* it was based off a comment made during a Shadowrun game, but damned if I can remember the context. Maybe I blocked it out?? Anyway, I give you - redneck dragons.

I have a file somewhere with random rpg posts rant and other miscellanea from the internet, part of which talks about replacing good/evil with Republican/Democrat and lawful/chaotic with Catholic/Prodestant becuase it would make just as much sense, and Catholic Republican Dragons would be cool.

Not sure about the catholic thing, but I think I can guess how those dragons would vote.

Simple Simon met a pieman going to the fair;
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Let me taste your ware."
Said the pieman to Simple Simon "Show me first your penny."
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Sir, I have not any!"

Half-elves and golems and nymphs, oh my!

And you still spelled "Neutral" wrong!

Not that I'm in a correctiong-spelling mood or anything.
EVIL? Why? This I must know.
Also, look, pie.

Doh! That seems to be one of the few words I can never remember how to spell right! I can never remember whether it's the e or the u that comes first. I have the same problem with Tuesday. Teusday? Hrm...

Anyway, as for why "evil", it's because Democrat was defined as replacing evil and liberal is the essence of Democrat, ergo, liberal is close to evil. Simple logic from a simple mind. ^.^

*edit*

Oooo! Pie! I almost missed that! *dives for pie*

Is it...Evil Pie?

For me, the more I hear the extremists on both sides, the more they all sound the same.

Doesn't seem to matter which extremists or which sides.

*nods* Yeah. Extremists make any side sound evil. There's even middle-of-the-road extremists! Extreme moderates can be just as scary as extreme liberals or extreme conservatives! *shudders* Politics makes people crazy.

Every once in a while, my brain sort of melts and I get the strange urge to draw something terribly cute. Sometimes, I'm able to hold out against the allure of small, fuzzy owlets, or lemurs, or even, occasionaly, the little beady eyes of a hedgehog, but other times my resolve crumbles and I scribble endlessly cute things, only to be horrified by them the next time I go through my sketchbook. The subject of this particular delusion seems to have been racoons. (Though, that guy in the bottom corner seems to be more tanuki-ish.)

What, you were expecting me to draw cute little fuzzy kittens or something? Wierd critters are much more fun.

Whoops! There was no Sketchbook Sunday this week because on Sunday, I was in the middle of a lake in Northern Saskatchewan. Camping was tons of fun, and I'm sure I'll rave about it on my LJ when I get the chance, but right now xaq and I are in Regina and about to leave on the 7+ hrs drive back to Edmonton. Phew...

But, I figured that while I had access to the forums, I should post something up here. So - more raccoons!!
