Um, those are the lyrics to "Gotta Knock a Little Harder", not "The Real Folk Blues".

You don't find a Cure album. It finds you and slowly leeches your will to live.

In a good way.

Unless you own a 9mm.

Or some rope.

Now, there's a difference between depressing and emo. For example, BNL's "The Flag" depresses me in a good way because it's slow, mellow and sad. "Adam's Song" by Blink 182 depresses me in a bad way because, well, it's really tragic but the music itself is still good so I'm willing to listen. The Simple Plan's "Welcome to my life" is whiny, emo, bitchy and self-important and makes me want to hang myself. In the bad way.
Need me to kill someone? I'm a hired assasin in my spare time.

Simple Plan is my musical enemy and they write presumptuous music. It sucks what they're passing off as emo these days because it has changed a lot. Oh well, everything changes so no use whining about it.

If you want depressing music, download the Hotel Dusk soundtrack. Can't get any more depressing than that.

That's why they started putting those cathartic 15-minute long bloodlettings at the end of their records. By the end of it your too tired to even reach that full bottle of aspirin.

If you just want to be depressed, buy Paris Hilton's CD.

Then contemplate what you just spent money on. You don't even need to open the shrinkwrap.

I hear it's actually okay. But much of that has to do with producers, hired musicians and studio magic. But under that kid of direction, it could've been anyone singing those songs.

Okay, it could've almost been anyone. No amount of Pro Tools can fix a voice that hung.

I've managed to avoid Stars Are Blind, but I must say I'm curious, though not optimistic.

I'm sure that with you, no matter the topic, that last part goes without saying.
