Xara's soma type is confusing to her too! And the little wyrmling is basically innocent and untested. We'll just have to wait a little more to see what happens when they merge! ^_^

He's standing again! Well, if you haven't figured it out by now, Kyle can use other people's mana but he has none of his own. He's been wheelchair bound since his last encounter with Rhea. He got up once to save Xara from herself (using Laurence's magic). And now he's facing the monster for King Laurence using his magic again. I think he's an interesting knight like fellow. All the force but none of the power. On the next page, I'll try to make it look like Laurence is providing the power.

But Kyle must not be too impressive to Rhea! She doesn't seem at all concerned! She's a cool customer for a firey demon! She already trounced him once.

Sorry the page is a little spartan, I'm in a hurry today! ^_^; But I love bit of perspective and drama I was able to add today. It was another fun page to draw!

Looking forward to seeing what happens next! Whether it being Kyle getting stomped or Mr. Gargoyle being broken into itty bitty pieces.

Speaking of Mr. Gargoyle, I think he may need to get an appointment at the local dentist office at some point. heh

Mr. Gargoyle is either really tough, or Kyle's sword is a piece of junk!

Of course, I'm leaning towards Mr. Gargoyle being really tough, otherwise, he wouldn't really make a good henchgoyle for Rhea.

Special treat for you Drunk Duck'ers. It's this Sunday's "Dragonaur" today! Most of the comic alert systems track my Comicgen mirror, so I'm post dating the comic to show up on Sunday over there. But since I haven't got any counters or updaters set up on my account here I'll just post it early!

After more than 7 years of drawing this comic we at last see Xara integrated with her true dragon form! Yowsa! ^_^

Now these colors you should recognize. It's Xara's angry human/dragoness form colors! Back among the living it's the only fragment of her former physical form left to her! Since she has two physical forms, it didn't kill Xara outright when Rhea took possession of Xara's body. And unfortunately for Rhea, Xara was able to use that body to return to reality post-haste!

This was a seriously fun page to draw and I'm mostly pleased with the results. A grand re-entry for Xara! It's a little difficult to make size comparisons yet. Xara's wyrmling was small, but integrated with Xara's spirit it has grown in stature! I'm guessing Xara/dragon form is about 40 to 50 feet long. And she may be wirey but those are bone crushing jaws as we shall soon see!

Xara/Rhea has such marvelous hips...well, I try my best to draw them that way. ^_^; You know, I'm not winning any awards or anything but pages like this make it worth while.

Don't know what's up with Comicgen for the comics. But I can't get to the siteadmin to update my comic. I put the page up on ftp but it will take 'til 3:00 am before it updates.

Seems that Mr. Gargoyle was no match for the mighty-dragony Xara. Kyle easily got "pwned", but Xara/dragon is apparently quite strong.

Her dragon form looks good in her normal color palette. Brown mane, purpley scales, they work together good...but I bet Rhea wouldn't agree with me since she is about to get her nice hipped, keister kicked.

Unless bad ole' Arai shows up to ruin things.

Well you know I was thinking of some different color's for Xara's dragon form. But I settled on her normal colors so her influence is recognizable! Arai is returning unless I change the plot a little... ^_^;

Interesting comic, i like it.
Storys about Half-Dragons (Remember, Xara is half-elven, half-dragon) became extremly rare on both the books and net. Draconian storys at all in fact became rare and if you want an alternative to "Eragon", then this is it.

Yay! I'm finally original in something! I wish I was a better story teller tho'! And artist for that matter. I definitely feel I'm not doing the genre any favors. ^_^ Thanks for reading. Check out the story over on Drunk Duck, I'm updating there as I'm still unable to load up a comic here.

Concering xara's dragon shape: If she kills rhea, wouldn't it also physically kill her own regular body? This could mean that xara has to stay in this dragon shape permanently. But i'll stay tuned

Oh, it looks like we lost the ability to put pictures in our posts. Sigh, I really liked that feature. However...

We also see that Rhea is a bit of a whiner! Kind of like a spoiled brat I'd say. Falling apart when the going gets rough! But she bounced right back when she saw that the bite somehow hurt Xara too! Rhea knows as Xara does, that killing Rhea means killing herself. It's one thing to trap yourself in your dragon form forever, but it's quite another to have to make it a kamikazi attempt!

So Xara can't just kill her body with Rhea in it. She's going to have to think of something else.

Yes, Rhea might have ended up killing herself. But now she's all smiles since she thinks that Xara can't touch her. Rhea's main motivation for killing Xara is to prevent her from trying to re-posses her body. Arai just wants a powerful ally/slave. Tho' he'd probably be just as happy to get Xara killed since she spurned his advances!

I can see 2 ways that this could end without a death.

1.) Exorcism of Rhea, separating the spirit-like Rhea from Xara's physical body.
2.) Xara's dragon form would more than likely have more stamina than her humanoid body. If Dragon-Xara caused enough damage to her humanoid body, perhaps that would force Rhea to leave it...who wants to live in a trashed apartment, afterall?

Maybe you'll come up with a third answer to Xara's dilema, any way you put it, I'm looking forward to it!

P.S.: In an earlier post, I asked what Arai was...after reading through the archives, I came across an interesting comment that was made by "Mouse-Laurence". He said something along the lines of..."One demon possessed Saurian is enough..."...is Arai a Saurian that is possessed by a demon, like Xara's current humanoid body?
