Another week, another sketch from xaq's Rifts game. (I swear, I'll post some more Weregeek stuff soon ) This is our group's medic, a crazy amphibious alien cyber-doc from another dimension, who just happens to have anti-septic spit. This creeps me out to no end. The text there is an actual in-game quote.

Isn't it obvious? He's about to cop a feel.
What bugs me is he's got 5 fingers on the right hand but only 4 on the left. Where is the ring?

Simple Simon met a pieman going to the fair;
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Let me taste your ware."
Said the pieman to Simple Simon "Show me first your penny."
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Sir, I have not any!"
Half-elves and golems and nymphs, oh my!

Actually, I think he's about to spit his cigarette at a Hunter and then kick his ass. That's the same image that was used in panel 3 of THIS comic:

Heh. Yeah, Mark does look a little... grope-y? in that drawing.
And, that is indeed (part of) the same drawing I used in May 23rd's strip. I must have redrawn Mark's head four or five times in that panel, and I just couldn't get the same smirk I'd gotten in that sketch, so I inked the sketch and stuck it in there instead.

Becuase a scimitar has a nice, balanced feel, and the curve effectivly sharpens and keeps the blade sharp. Plus, I was trained on a katana, and a scimitar has a similar curve. Its a very elegant, very effective weapon of war.
I often give my D&D fighters scimmys, which is the only reason I bult your char with one.
:-p
