Tofu is alright if it's cooked with the right foods, I find. And even then, only when I feel like tofu.

Cheesecake, otoh, is almost always tasty.

I like cheesecake, but I can't stand that cheesecake-like mess they sell at fast food restaurants in the little paper boxes. So dry and flavorless....

Canned - I am a big fan of tomato soup and chicken noodle soup, but only from Campbells. My own - I also make a mean vegetable soup. In restaurants - I prefer broccoli and Cheese or potato soup though. Particularly the latter with pepper.

And tofu can be made into beef-jerky like consistency? I might like that.

I'm rather fond of Campbell's Chunky Corn Chowder. With some sort of bread. Like sourdough....mmmmm....and not that fake crap, either.

Strange, but she always thought it'd be blue-ish, too. It's not. The beans themselves are white, and the soup is chicken stock.

Aww... it should be blue. Squid-ink pasta is black though. Even after it's cooked. And if you're cooking in a black pot, you'll never know there's anything in there!

Well I've been told the dried stick form is beef-jerky-like. I haven't actually tried it. It's also often heavily spiced, so it won't have that tasteless tofu taste.

I dunno about blue bean soup, but if you make pasta fazul with black beans it can come out a kind of blue--bluish grey.
