Poor spriting, I'm afraid. He's supposed to be using the fence behind him as a brace to jump. I played with it for a while, and that was the best that I could get it to do.Tinkerbell wrote:It does beg the question over whether Lucky's luck protects both of them, or they each have their own luck. Does their proximity augment their powers? (My guess would be yes, as it looks like Havoc's mysteriously developed the ability to fly in the last panel...)

Shouldn't Havok be bleeding? He was shot. It just seems he was walking away from that without any wounds.

Fun fact - lasers cauterize wounds.
And in an amazing feat of luck, it didn't hit any vital organ. So while Hazard is dragging his feat, and is going to be a long time healing (what with the damage it takes burn tissue to heal), there's not much blood loss.
In retrospect, I should have shot him lower, so that the red from the wound wound show up against gray, instead of against the red on his uniform. I actually put a small trail of dripped blood, and then took it out because I remembered the cauterizing thing.

I'm looking for some indication that today's (sunday april 1st) comic is an april fool's joke of some kind...

Actually, I was hoping it wasn't an April Fool's joke, this is just too good not to go somewhere with it.

No worries, this one's going to have long-term ramifications.
Also, for those who are curious, there are comics. They just aren't uploading due to a queue issue with Comicgenesis. Those of you who frequent other CG sites may have noticed.
I imagine a bunch will upload simultaneously... or I could build a buffer, or something...
