This also reminds me of Metal gear Solid, in which the guards seemed to have observed via cone. And then you have some stealth games where the guards not only have peripheral vision, but eyes on the back of their head.
This was very good. I really like the fact that this comic has its own identity and style. It took a while to develop, but I think it has really come into its own. To many game-related comics are just 8bit ripoffs. Not this one though, it's an 8bit ripoff with an OOTS attitude!
I kid. But serious props Elfy. You've really created a good thing here. Any vague, undefined plans for a book at some point in time? Perhaps as vague as say, a distant ship's smoke on the horizon? I can tell from the incentives that any bonus strips would be well worth it. I have expendable income!!!!
Ah, the ol' "look behind you!" gag. Thank goodness you didn't follow the laws of comedic timing, or else [s]Miko would have smote Antonio[/s] this would have been way too predictable.
By the way, good job clearing up Antonio's motivations in canon. You managed to do it without breaking character or the fourth wall at all.

Because I'm an excellent author.
And Germ, that's pretty close...
I set my ATM card's number to "0001" because I'm number one!
I noticed you changed the archived comic too. Which is good because if the webcomic ever reaches epic level a completely non-canonical comic that seems to build upon a preexisting theme that is later refuted would confuse a lot of new readers.
But yaknow it is kinda confusing as to why this discussion is occuring in the first place, unless you did it simply because you are evil and disturbing. The smart money is on that.
