Thank ghod for enchanted goats. :)

Well, looks like Mort is going to go far in this competition. 74 points of damage and he didn't go down -- that's going to be hard for even non-physical attackers to top. Good match, Mort, and good luck!

Give one of us technicals a go at him, and we'll see how long it'll take to chip the boulder down to gravel.

I have a bad feeling I didn't choose my stats very wisely and now I'm going to lose to Nanda and then I won't even get into round two and I was hoping I'd at least get a chance to fight against Sparrow once... being all nemesis-ish and stuff, y'know... :( Ah well. That reminds me, I've got a picture to draw...

D'aw.... I'm touched.

Well, maybe if I drop out too, we can have an exhibition match.

Round 1 Series 2 - Czar (0/1) vs. Kisai (0/1)

In one corner we have Czar, the technician with deep pockets full of oddities, and in the other, Kisai, the mentalist. Czar is weak against mentalists, and Kisai recently polished her mental mallet.

Turn 1 - Czar wins initiative.
Czar reaches into his pockets and comes up with a fist full of mealworms and an air cannon! He loads the meal worms and fires at Kisai! they hit her full in the face! (10 damage). Enraged, Kisai uses her mental powers to cause the air cannon to overheat and it explodes! (6 damage)

Turn 2 - Czar wins initiative.
Czar spends his time waving his hands in the air going "ow! ow! ow!". Kisai makes the most of it and brings down her hammer, smashing Czar in the skull. Czar goes wide eyed, and falls over.

Winner: Kisai! Kisai glows and is healed, and gains a stat point.
Loser: Czar. An ogre comes out with a bucket of slime mold juice, and dips Czar's hands in it. the damage fades. Then she upends the bucket on Czar's head, and he wakes up sputtering.

Look at it this way, Audio Babe shouldn't have won her last battle on paper, but luck played a big role. Maybe you will get lucky with Audio Babe. But if you do at least buy her dinner first!

Series 2 Round 1 - Aiken (1/0) vs. Sasjhwa (1/0)

In one corner we have Chronos, the technical master with twin 9mm hand cannons, and in the other AudioBabe, with her magical sonic abilities. Aiken is known to be weak against magic. Based on the results of the last round, we are asking all spectators to please put their earplugs in... now.

Turn 1 - Chronos wins initiative.
Chronos s not one moment before unloading both barrels at near point blank range into Audiobabe! Audiobabe quickly creates a pressure wave between her and Chronos. The wave disrupts the bullets path, and knocks Chronos back ten feet (8 damage).

Turn 2 - Chronos wins initiatve.
Chronos shakes off the blow and unloads both clips at AudioBabe, while on the run, making it that much harder for her to avoid the bullets! Audiobabe flies straight up, the bullets miss their target (but do manage to kill a hot dog vendor, three children, and a puppy, as well as Linkara, down in the arena waiting room). AudioBabe unleashes a single ping, amplified to 200 decibels. It crashes into Chronos, causing the ground around him to explode upwards, and doing (10 damage).

Turn 3 - Chronos wins initiative.
As Audiobabe is landing, and looking where she's going to put her feet down, Chronos gets a perfect shot, and hits her square in the knee, blowing out that joint entirely, causing much pain and (15 damage).

Turn 4 - Chronos wins initiative.
Chronos tries hitting Audiobabe again, but in reaction to the pain, she launches herself high into the sky again! From that vantage, she can clearly see Chronos, and hear his heart beat. She amplifies it until the sound of his own heartbeat tears his internal organs apart. (11 damage). Chronos falls.

Linkara in the meantime, is healed by an ogre prostitute who sucks the bullet out of his body, and then bandages him.

Winner: Sasjhwa (Audiobabe). She glows brightly, is healed, and gains a stat point.

Loser: Aiken. An ogre hobbiest walks up, rips Aiken open, and carefully reglues his organs back together with superglue. Then he paints Aiken to look like a sports car. Aiken wakes up healed, but with an "STP Motor Oil" sticker on his forehead.

Sheesh... fighting in this arena is safer than watching it (unless you're Linkara, that is)! Huzzah for unnecessary carnage!

Guns don't kill people. Guns kill spectators and minimum wage arena employees!

Is it a bad thing that I'm getting a whole new appreciation of my comic character's powers by how they are being written here? :D

Thanks for an exciting battle!

Me neither! D: *huggles Cookie*

I'm also torn... I suddenly realized that if neither Stinky or myself gets eliminated, that eventually we'll have to fight each other. And part of me is saddened by that thought...

And the other part of me wants to kick his ass.
