My brother and I wish to share a website here on Comics Genesis and I am curious if there is some way to do that or do we both need to apply separately?

I ask this because he is the website programmer and I handle the colors for both comics (that was the deal we struck).

IF you haven't recieved the initial email in 14 days, the problem is the email address used. The system will delete the signup after 14 days.

If you want to use multiple authors for some reason, you can create separate forum accounts and add the same comic to the siteadmin in each. This, at the minimum will let both users upload comics.

Well, I've tried numerous times (over the past few months), but I can't seem to get the sign-up to work! It just re-loads the page. I checked to see if the sign-up even went through, and it says it didn't ^^; I'm at a loss of what to do now.

Hi, Dark! I got my creation verification email ("enter the following code to confirm" your email and registration) on 8/3. I didn't get my "Your Keenspace account is ready", where I could sign into my account until 8/11, and it was hours after I got that email that I could do anything with my account. Hang in there!

You need to upload a comic that is under 500KB, the upload script kills uploads once it hits 500KB. If you can't resize/resample/recompress to 500KB, then the signup script will keep breaking.
Having problems with the web page it wont pop up so i can get my self on keenspace for comics.. I want to build my own web page but when i go to keenspace and hit sign up it wont let me do anymore then see a page saying Error.. o.O;; i tryed all the help they said and nothing helps!

No expert here, Rlocke, but I will tell you what I did. I found that for some reason, logging in using the login button at the bottom of the forums worke a lot better. (That and realizing that I had to use my FORUM login info and not the comic site info I submitted when I asked for my site. *bleah* It says it in several places, but I missed all of them the first few times thru the tutorials.) Hope you can get your comic up very soon!

When mine kept reloading I realized that my sample comic was too large, as I had forgotten to resize it for web. If your sample comic is over 500kb it will just kill it and reload the blank form, but it will NOT give you an error. So you should double check your sample comic file size, and double check that you checked off all the necessary boxes and stuff and try again.

Good luck.

As long as you can read english, you're fine. The main problem with non-english speakers is that there is no support (ie nobody knows how to speak something else that is not english)

Okay, I'm like a total rookie in every sense of the word, so please bear with me; I'm having some toruble with the postal code portion of the sign-up. I know that I'm putting in the right code, but it keeps telling me that it's in the wrong format. So I'll bite-just what IS the correct format?
Oh, this is only going to end in tears and childish name-calling.

I had the same problem as Saisei and i did what you said and you were right about the size but know i'm totally confused or something but uhh...any tips on how to take down the size? is it talking about the size as in a perimiter kind of thing or something like too much graphics or something? I'm reallllllllllly lost.

Well, if all you do is scan your art it'll probably be kind of huge. You may not notice though, because the image you see on the screen is resized (if you're in Photoshop, look at the top of the picture's window and it'll have file name and percentage of full size, so if it says 100% then it is the "real" size on the page). You most likely have to *resize* the image to a size that looks okay on the web (ie, no scrolling) and that will drastically decrease the file size.

If you still can't figure that out, reply and tell me how you are scanning or otherwise getting your art on the computer and what program it is.

Most image editing programs come with a "save for web" or "save optimized" feature. Open your pic with your image editor and save a copy of it using either "save for web" or "save optimized", that should do the trick.
