Welcome to the TG Forum

Post by Tenma »

Welcome! This is the forum for the webcomic Treading Ground.

Most if not all of you have been on some kind of forum before, and the standard rules apply for the most part. Just don't be a dick.

Feel free to discuss shitty jobs, relationships, art, anime/manga, music, or anything related to the comic. Even yaoi. *shudders* Discuss whatever else you want to as well, but if you start an off-topic thread be sure to put OT in the title.

Thanks for participating, and thanks for reading TG!

Nice to be here, hell, it's nice to be anywhere really.

Right?

Oh, and yeah, I like the comic.

Really.

Keep it up.

Thanks, Travie!

This place will hopefully be a little busier soon... I haven't officially announced it yet.

That's cool, I guess I could be like, a VIP or something, having found this place before anyone else did.

Or

Some jerk who got lucky.

Or

I inputed a secret code and level skipped. I hope it was a cool code, like, teh Konami Kode.

Up up down down left right left right B A START!

Now, where's my 30 lives, BITCH?!

P.S. Batman rules. Supes ain't got nothing on him.

...and, yes, that IS in reference to that comic you did!

You can be the Original Boardie who gets to snort in derision at all the Johnny-Come-Latelys when the forum gets big and active. :-D

Heh, do we get to play as Simon Belmont now?

So it was written, so it will come to pass!

Sure, Ill be the resident old man who yells at kids to get off my lawn. Or your lawn. Or whatever.

Like a guy at a yard sale who has his eye on something, only for someone to buy it while his back is turned, and says, "Hey! I saw that first!". It might just cost five bucks, but, c'mon it's the principle of the situation!

BTW, do you still work in a grocery store? I live up in the North Shore, and Ive been working in one for about three years now in the Seafood Department, so, I can get a kick out of some of the things you have going on with your characters at such a place. Especially teh "special" baggers. I used to be a bagger for two years until they "promoted" me to Seafood.

P.S. Sure, but, only IF I get to play first. Then, IF I die, Ill hand the controller to you, and you'll give it back when you die. We'll switch back and forth. Sucks we have to do it that way, but, we dont have a two player game.

Not since January. I think five years at that place is enough (not counting the 4 I spent at other stores). But, yeah, I worked my way up from Bagger to Customer Service Manager and also did some Frozen Food/Dairy, so I have a well-rounded supermarket experience to work from.

Saw teh recent update. Awesome stuff. Wish I could do something as great as that. Photoshop? Or at least something in color. Anytime I try it sucks, so, I stick to grayscale. And my cartoony looking characters. And writing my dialogue out by hand. And refusing to buy a ruler to keep things straight.

Because...

....THATS...HOW I ROLL!

Sides, practice makes perfect...or at least halfway decent...

Thanks, but I'm not "East Coast" whatsoever. I'm "Great Lakes," really. Yes, you got the good team of Avengers and we got The Great Lakes Avengers. But the Justice League of America was based out of Detroit for a while!

Yes, it was the shittiest incarnation of the League...

...

I'm depressing myself here.

As was requested, I dragged my lazy ass in here. Now where are the mice? I'm hungry.

Heh. Seems like a good chunk of the people here are from the East Coast. I get to reside down in the South... and for anyone who thinks hell doesn't freeze over... come down here for the winter. Because it does.
