well even if i register and get my tickets in advance, i'll still stand in line with you to keep you company.Keffria wrote:I lack a credit card, so, sadly, I can't pay for my ticket in advance.
Therefore, there will be at least one person wating in the huge-ass lineup. But this time (i.e. not like at Anime North), I will have flyers to pass out to people along the line and such, and will therefore have an opportunity for shameless self-promotion.
Any word on the table(s) yet? I still wanna hawk Golden merchandise and attempt to make buttons or something. (Incidentally, a friend of mine suggests MemeCo for Canadian would-be button-makers, though I don't know what the quality is like.)

There is only one Deluxe.
They put it in each section so that you can see what tickets will get you into that particular part ofthe con.

con or no con
my bad.
that was QUOTING from the previous message...
not my intentions.
I'm not going. Those rare occasions I get a whole long weekend off..
( maybe once a year...)
i head out into the bush and cummune with trees. and the bark.
plus the lake...
oh, and the usual request is for a *pat-decoder* if you're having trouble grasping my version of the english as she is spoke and it's
available at better spy-shops everywhere... right beside the wrist-watch lie detectors. (technology is WONDERFUL!)
sorry 'bout that. no intention to defraud, honest... just keep a thread
tied together.
todays randomness is about society running on bug-dependant code..
(not blue-blood cannibalism or patronage.)
ie: mickysoft being TOTALLY dependant on a loop-hole or six and ANY further evolution in patient laws, etc. destroying society as we know it.
thru layoffs and eco collaspe, that is.

I should be arriving in Toronto bright and early on the first day of the con (the Friday), since that was the earliest I could start my vacation ... Incidentally.

*arrives on aug 31 (thursday)*
My tix cost too much, boo! I haven't bought tickets for the actual con yet. So I'm probably going to be standing in line. The only con I ever pre-regged for was A-kon, and I spent as much time in that line as I did when I didn't pre-reg for the other cons I've been to... no wait, Anime Evolution (Vancouver), I stood in line for probably a half hour.
Make sure to take a pen, pencil and a sharpie. The one thing that consistantly happens is you have to sign for something, and if you don't have a pen, you have to wait for someone to find one.

I was wondering what we are all going to do at the convention.
Do we want to spend the entire time at the convention, or do we want to do anything else?
I saw how the people who met up in the UK went to a theme park. There is a very large theme park in Toronto http://www3.paramountparks.com/canadasw ... /index.cfm
If anyone is interested in that. And/Or there is the Playdium which isn't very far from the airport http://www.playdium.com/
That's about as much as I know about Toronto.
