The only thing I found funny is the "Did I do That?" and it's only because I knew it was fake already.

I was pretty sure this was fake from the begining, cause if this guy had really died, I would have heard about it. But really the note gave it away. And everyone who knows anything about the guy knows the last thing he's obsesed with is that character. Most actors that play famous characters often turn to hating that character for being more famous than they are. In an episode of "Joey" before it got canceled, they had Brent Spiner on there talking about how much he hated being refered to as "Data" and wishes people would treat him like a real person instead of the android from star trek.

As for funny it's on par with most other death hoaxes. I didn't find anything wrong with it, and the note was giggle-worthy, but it wasn't drop dead funny. Pun intended.

Usually, I find human death to be rife with hilarity. That's why I have darwinawards.com in my bookmarks. But in this case, it just seems cruel. I mean, here you have a semi-decent actor who was the pawn in a scheme to take a one-note character and turn him into a star of a primetime sitcom, which horribly backfired and left him walking down the road of obscurity. And now on top of that, every time he goes out to audition for a new role, he's going to have to deal with agents who'll greet him with a less-than-enthusiastic "I thought you were dead."

This is a combinition of indignities typecast actors must face. It is both what happened to the Mikey cereal kid and Jim Varney. Considering, as M2 pointed out, that Jaleel was once the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog, I consider him to be an honorary cartoon small mammal, and hang my poorly defined head in shame towards his unfortunate fate.

So, no, I didn't find any of it to be funny.

Not nearly as funny as the man who lowered himself into a lions den and told the onlookers that he would prove God exists because God would not let him be harmed. Shortly thereafter a lioness ripped his throat out. It happened a couple of days ago but I can't find the news story now.

Yeah, Jaleel White's better than the new guy they've got doing Sonic.

But I'm with Sortelli and phact. It's funnier as a hoax.

...but I still find the "rabbit hit by a race car" hilarious, and that's sickened quite a few people, so I'm really into dark humor from the beginning.

I dunno, it might've been funny to me if I knew who Urkel was. But I don't.

I actually felt kind of sad when I read that...until I found out it wasn't true. Not particularly funny. I mean, come on...an Urkel joke? Have we stepped into a time machine into 1992?

People don't make up new jokes, as seen by this thread.

Not funny.

Suicide won't ever be funny to me. It means somebody was in an awful lot of pain and didn't know what else to do.

That was funny, 'cause I know the lions were praying that a real dumb guy would jump into their den 'cause the food there was crap.
