I stumbled onto this comic about three weeks ago and since then have read all the previous strips. I just wanted to say that I think your comic is awesome. Hope the adventures keep on coming cos I'll be waiting for them.
the world in CQ is hot and dry counting down the days till winter and uni - the uni has aircon. I'm really glad you're not going to dig up Wendy. I don't think she'd be too impressed.
Yup but its not too bad at the moment with the cyclone up north. We have a nice strong breeze.
But I'm on holidays at the moment with a lot of time on my hands and not a lot to do - hence the internet
They can practice somewhere else next year though. Watching a big cloud of black smoke billow up over the horizon is not my favourite way to spend a 40 degree day...

It's always exciting to watch fires though. When I was little we had all this grassland across the road which caught fire a couple of times. We would sit on the verandah and watch them try to put it out. I loved it. It's all been developed now.
Might look a little different with trees all around you...a little scary to see the flames in the distance and know it's coming in your general direction...
But I agree...the power and energy behind them is unreal to behold.
