should we also not be concerned that grey seventeen is missing?Czar wrote:From now on access to sublevel grey nineteen is restricted.
You do not want to know why.

However, those two events are completely unrelated and the security chief is looking into the latter.
Just... Don't try to access grey nineteen for the time being. There is absolutely no reason to be struck by senseless panic... yet.

Sadly (?), following DD's consistent dying, I must follow my comrade in cartoonery, Ian Jay, and ask for a welcome into your friendly... *glances at Czar* If slightly odd, community
But hey - odd is fun! I'm as odd as they come
Infact, I have actually been here before - my site here, which I've forgotten the UID and Password to, at http://cavesandcritters.keenspace.com, which hasn't updated since September 22nd, 2003, is proof of that
I wanna come back! ;.;

You'll find yourself reevaluating your definition of "odd" very quickly.Mort wrote:Sadly (?), following DD's consistent dying, I must follow my comrade in cartoonery, Ian Jay, and ask for a welcome into your friendly... *glances at Czar* If slightly odd, communityBut hey - odd is fun! Day Two of my stay at CG. I awaken upon the lobby sofa. The first thing I notice is that the couch's armrests gave me a terrible ache in the neck overnight. The second thing I notice is the group of CG denizens huddled over my prostrate body.
I'm not too familiar with the customs of these natives, but I do the best I can to communicate with them. Giggles and whispers emanate from the crowd above me. One brave soul attempts to give me some sort of welcoming gesture, holding out a half-eaten roll of Beech-Nuts from the lobby vending machine. Another presses a creased pamphlet in my hands. I can't make out what it says, but it seems to be an advertisement for joining Comic Genesis. The one who handed it to me points at me and says, "Waaaann... off... aaaaouuss?"
I have to handle this situation delicately. I roll off the couch, stand up and start to speak.
"Look, guys. I really appreciate what you're doing here, and I'd take your offer if it was my only choice, but, frankly, I don't need it. I've had a site over at http://teo.spiderspawn.com for a while now, and it's served my needs better than my DD site ever did. I just kept the DD site as a backup. No offense, but getting a site at CG would sort of be... a step down from where I am now. I'm past my genesis. Sorry. I've got to decline."
Silence.
Then one of the CG dwellers points at me and screams with rage. The others follow suit, and I try to frantically extract myself from a whirlpool of angry comic artists (the fourth worst kind of whirlpool there is, actually). Luckily, the lobby's tile floor had been polished recently, and, with one swift kick backwards (it's probably to my advantage that I'm a strong swimmer), I slid on my stomach across the hall and into a closing elevator. The doors closed, muffling sounds of anguish and revenge only slightly. I sighed and stared at the faux-wood paneling, hatred and Muzak ringing in my ears. It was going to be one of those days.

Dammit, gone for 2 or so days and all of keensp... er Comic Gen is claimed! Is there anything left for me and my band of crappy glorified almost drawing stick figures, or do I have to go to the Deep 13 subbasement with that creepy green coated guy and the strange portly blonde man in black?
Someday, someday I'll finish Confabulation. That day is not today, however.
