Well, see, the box says "may cause drowsiness," but in a certain percentage of people who take drowsy meds, there's an opposite reaction. Anywho, Lego told me a long time ago that depressants and stimulants don't cancel each other out, but rather compound negative effects, so I try not to do that anymore.
He's right. It sucks. Don't do it.
i do so love it when people actually listen.

Well, it also helps that I'd actually done it at the time that I had asked you, and felt like I was on another planet. An unpleasant planet. When someone tells you "This is why you feel this way, so don't do it again," it's really in your best interests to listen. *hugs back*

Also, fyi, try not to overdose on Robitussin Cold and Cough. I once took two teaspoons of an old bottle, which was a half dose, ran out, and sent my husband out for a new bottle, which I then proceeded to take another two teaspoons from - the other half of the dose; or so I thought. It seems in the time between when I purchased the first bottle and when Mike brought me the second, they'd changed the dosage from four teaspoons to two. So I ended up taking a dose and a half, which was not fun at all. My heart sped up, I started shaking, my face got all tingly and I generally felt awful. Not a good time.

And do NOT OD on Benadryl - A very common side effect of using too much Benadryl is that you lose the ability to urinate, and have to be catheterized. Oh, the ability comes back - no worries there for the most part. But before it does, you really have no choice but to allow someone to push a surprisingly large hose down your urethra and into your bladder.

Dooooon't do it. Dr. Foley, wherever you are, your catheter is evil and I hope you're being attacked by butt-weasels.

eventually i think kidney damage, but that requires a whole lot. i know Tylenol has an effect the liver, aspirin has one on the kidneys, but i'm not sure on the ibuprofen.

yeah, i have trouble taking it on an empty stomach, makes it pretty upset, but i think that's not nearly as damaging as too much aspirin is on the kidneys.

You should probably be more concerned with the long islands.

that shouldn't be too bad, might even been beneficial, anti-inflammatories are fairly good for you.

Yeah, especially since I've got nasty tendonitis. Good thing I'm off the Celebrex. It was making my heart hurt.

Sadly, they don't make jeans the way they used to.

Did my taxes last night. With my wife working full time now, Yay, I'm now middle class! WHOOT!

...

Oh crap. I had forgotten to change my taxes, they were still taxing me as if I was still dirt-frickin-poor.

Now to figure out how to come up with $1100 by April 15th...

*insert swears here*

I wonder what ours will be like. I withdrew 4000 from my 401k without paying taxes, so there's that. And then Beth got a mean boost to her salary this year.

I bet we end up with no refund, or oweing, this year too.
