I had planned to be a Demon Pirate Librarian but my horns weren't fitting right with the bandanna.

PS: The only people who actually dressed up today were me, my co-worker and one of the circulation desk girls. Everyone else was a party pooper.
PPS: If anyone cares, I'm wearing my handmade leather boots I bought at the local renaissance fair some years back. They're fun to wear at comicons and I also wear them periodically during the year.

Okay, here's mine...If anyone is familiar with the DEATHNOTE manga or anime, I haven't seen the anime, yet, but I'm digging the manga, my pumpkin is based on the Shinigami (a Japanese death God) Ryuk, a character in the story.
I don't have a manga handy but I'll post a pic of Ryuk tomorrow for comparison.
So, here's my Shinigami death pumpkin:

I actually didn't dress up today, as I was home all the time, and I needed my time to work on my costume for Friday's halloween party. i'm gonna go as a Sally-ish doll^^
Happy halloween everyone! =D

No one said we were allowed to dress up this year, since we changed to CORPORATE dress code they have been real sticklers about it. So I just wore my elf ears and my uniform. People showed up dressed up and I felt very sad. When asked what my costume was I either told them I was a zombie ninja vampire pirate assassin robot werewolf from the future ... or the Worst Elf Ever. W.E.E. got the better response believe it or not, I told them I got kicked out of Santa's workshop for having a bad attitude so now I had to work for Wal*Mart. Plus it was a lot easier to say.

Okay...please forgive the uncool old guy's ignorance, what's "TorTing"?
**Great pic, Kristy! Nice to meet Cristy #2 (Waves)...Too bad I live several states away, I could've rounded up a few swords and posed for some dueling pics with the pirate Kristy/Cristy in my pirate get-up. Oh well, I had fun.

I'm currently reading book 5. I'd enjoy seeing your McGonagal costume, if possible.
