Chibi Competition.

Post by Turnsky »

okay, after i got my hands on opencanvas (freeware version, folks) i've been practicing a fair bit with it, and i got the idea for making chibi versions of one or two people on comicgen, and i figured "what the hell, have a kind of jam with 'em".

The Rules are simple, Draw two chibi versions of another Comicgen person that hasn't been done before (se we don't have re-occurances of the one character).
Draw somebody -other- than yourself.
images must be 500x500 pixels a piece
chibi character must be on a white background, and the character itself must be in color.

Why?
i figure once we're all done, a desktop wallpaper will be made using them all.

Here's my two submissions:

Hmmmm I havn't drawn chibi much... or at all. Found some reference pics, tell me how far off I am before I churn out another one. This isnt my official entry, this is a *working in the right direction?* post?

This is going with the "Freakishly small limbs and body to huge head" school of Chibi :P

Image

*edit* crappers, needs freckles, I'll add those for my 2 official entries.

good 'nuff. don't forget you gotta choose two comicgenners other than yourself to make a chibi with.

i never went for the pointy feet thing, tho, it kinda threw me off, but whatever you can do in the chibi perspective thing, that's your perogative.

I made another one, but it turned out... horrible. I'll fix it up and submit it after class.

For now, Cope!

The problem with a with background is that his eyes and horns are also white, so if you made it transparent for any reason, His horns and eyes would be see-through. Image

If SWF sees this, you will all be destroyed by the cuteness.

And we have to pray he doesn't use the chibichibi.

EDIT: Whoops! My question was already answered in the first post. PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE LIZARD THING BEHIND THE CURTAIN.

I have Rock_Dash and Tdot drawn... but I think Tdot's not a CGer...
He's in chat all the time, but his comic isn't on CG. Someone care to correct me on this? If I am wrong, I'll do another later.

Maybe Rock will be kind to ink them after I upload them (after work, that is).

I've already drawn some chibi versions of forumites here.
But I suppose I could at least ink a new one.
