How To Join a Dropdown

Find a dropdown into which you think your comic will fit (see list below). Post the information requested by the moderator into the thread. You will have to post the dropdown code somewhere on your site (it's really nice to do this before applying). Sit back and wait for the mod to get back to you.

Start one. Or get someone else to. I'd recommend the first.


How To Start a Dropdown

First decide what kind of dropdown you want and come up with a set of joining qualifications. You'll need to design a banner (or get someone else to do it). Write the dropdown code and upload it to your site. Check out phactorri's excellent tutorial. Start a thread here and post the dropdown qualifications and the script code in it. Keep it up to date.

Running a dropdown does require a bit of work and commitment so make sure you're willing to follow through.

Just a question, the tutorial mentions having a website for the dropdown. How do I go about getting a dropdown website?

any website will work, we usually host them on our comique websites. if you have a webcomic hosted on Comic Genesis just make a folder for your dropdown.

you don't really need to have a "member website" for the dropdown less you just really want to make one.
