Okay, I was afraid this would happen.
I'm at college now, a state away from home, and the school computers do not have FTP. I can't download FTP on the school's computers and the only other computer I have to use is my laptop and I do not have FTP on it.
I may be able to get FTP on my laptop but I'm not sure.
So, because of this I cannot update my comic.
I may have to update on another site untill I can work something out.
I don't know if anyone can help me in any way.
------------------

I don't see how a computer can not have ftp if it has internet access. A computer might not have an ftp program installed, I suppose, but those are very easy to find. What sort of systems are you/they running?
------------------

I remember the Polytech network I's on once, I got in trouble for installing programs because they had the potential to mess up the network (tho' I can't recall exactly why).
Talk to your school's system admin, they may be able to help you out.

I was at college in Toronto for a while, and I could only FTP while at home. All I can say is Thank Heaven for AutoKeen.

Dan, if you can get internet access through your laptop, download something like LeechFTP; it's a real easy program to use and understand.
If you absolutely can't download some kind of FTP program to your laptop and no one else can get you a copy, pretty much your only option is to find a temporary administrator for your site -- which means you have to give your FTP password to someone else and count on them to do all your updates. That's not usually a good option. FTP is pretty universal -- SOMEONE ought to be able to help you get something on your laptop. Check with the network administrators there at school to see if there's some kind of FTP program "hidden" in the computers that you might be able to use to send your stuff out. Or find a geekbuddy who'll let you use his computer.
--Strange/Dave
------------------
