So did I...I've been absent since moving off CG a few months ago...So I found it odd that I received a PM.

I clicked on it (stupid me, heh) and I didn't get a half dozen angry 'OH GOD! VIRUS!!' things from Avira. It's a site for viagra, btw.

And as stated above, it's from freanour and it's titled 'spam protection'. I got two actually. But that may have something to do with me telling him to @#$%-off after the first Email.

I got an email at 2:45 EST today and just opened it, same content as other people's apparently, from "freanour" about spam protection, with no private message found in my CG inbox.

I got the same, too. I got fooled and clicked the link. Hopefully, it won't wreck my computer. Those spammers need to buzz off now.

I got one from "gensurik" as well.

-Apparently this mysterious fellow joined May 25th last month at 1:15 PM.
-I got a message titled "Spam Protection" at June 1 11:52 PM according to the message itself, but the notification for that message didn't show up in my e-mail until 1:01 AM
-The text of the message says "Read new rules", which is linked to http://megl.ru/. DON'T GO THERE. I'm not sure, but it was probably some porn-related thing what with all the flashing neon-y animated borders and women with cliche smiles. I'm not especially sure since I only had it open for about half a millisecond.

There aren't any crazy pop-up ads suddenly appearing, but that might be thanks to Firefox. I'm running Spybot - Search and Destroy to find any spyware on the off chance that some got in through the cracks.

I got linked to a viagra-like drug site, to be detailed. Nothing porn like there, as far as I know. I clicked it off a few seconds later. I hope this doesn't infect my computer.

We need to crack down on these spammers big time.

I just got a message from a guy named gensurik. It said something about "new forum rules" or the like, then linked to a...I can't remember the URL. It made me think European, but I impulsively deleted it.
