So I tried my luck at animation...

And I came up with this.
CLICK!!
(exploiting a really old internet meme)

It's a short teaser promoting my comic.
It took me an afternoon to make it, and good thing I finished it too.
The only reason I ever finished it is coz the art style of my comic is so simple.. >.>

How about you guys? Ever tried making your characters move?

I've always wanted to. But Flash is too expensive :P

Or, if I could just get around to writing a story, setting up props and costumes, and finding actors, I'd do machinima movies.

I've been wanting to
But I'd spend too much time trying to grab people for voices.

I'd use the real Jon for Jon and Turkish... and that's as far as I can get. I don't know if I could use the real Niche for Niche (even if I was still talking to him regularly and he didn't live in Vancouver); his voice is really deep and somehow that doesn't seem to fit the comic Niche.
I think too much.

I've done a lot of pencil tests and animation stuff.

More so for my sekrit comic though.

I like the one where they're singing. It's enjoyable.

Whoa, that was really really good!

I've done a couple flash films for Newgrounds, they were... so-so.

I've always preferred full animation, but what you've done there is excellent. I've dabbled in animation from time to time, but I haven't done anything in a long time.

Is animation developing greatly in South Korea? Is it a good opportunity for an animator to find job in Seoul? im currently a student studying at emily carr, vancouver - canada and I'm thinking about finding a job in animation in Seoul in 2010 when I graduate. But I dont know if animation really is developing in that country or not. For any of you who knows, will you please answer my question and give me tips if that is possible. And, which country is the best in animation? (I'm talking about asian countries here.. and please leave out Japan, because i'm not talking about japanese anime here). Thanks in advance!

Hmm, before I started working on my comic, I was doing an intro animation on flash. All went well and it was looking great, except for the fact that it lagged so much that it couldn't een keep up with the soundtrack that I used for it. I used about 20 layers or even more than that. That might've been what caused the lagging. What do you think?

I've tried before, mostly with unrelated things to my comic, but Flash is good if you can afford it...

Good work.

Flash animation, even traditional animation is great. It really challenges your ability to draw action, particularly if you work in 20-30 fps (trying to trick the eye to see movement). I dabbled with it and hope to post complete works one day. But it really helps my drawings when high movement or exaggeration is desired to be conveyed.
