And that's why you play BlazBlue, with its amazing Guard Libra and Barrier gauge. And don't complain that you don't have an XBox, I'm tagging that arguement invalid for this purpose.

Unnecessary flame war is unnecessary. Back on topic.
Venom is hella fun to play, even when you don't have unlimited daruk angeils.
Also, a fun discussion topic: Blazblue/Guilty Gear crossover fighting game with BlazBlue graphics and mechanics that take the best from both games?

I am now level 80 in World of Warcraft.
I also now have epic flying, meaning that I don't fall asleep while moving from location to location.
And it took me a year and a half, playing on and off, to finally reach this point.
I feel giddy.

Re: Video Game Progress Thread
It's confirmed, folks.
Getting a 360 this Christmas. It's that Modern Warfare 2 bundle...but I don't care because it's got extra memory. I'm assembling a list of must have 360 games. You guys help me. I already have:
-BlazBlue
-Armored Core 4
-Phantasy Star Universe
EDIT: THAT GAME MAKES NO SENSE, ANDREW.

Re: Video Game Progress Thread
How does the game make no sense? Just asking.
Also, congrats on the 360. Now I'll have someone to play in BlazBlue that actually own the game. If you need a copy, I actually have an extra I'm willing to sell (long story short, my 360 burned a ring into the disk and made it a $60 frisbee, but after sending it out to a refurbishing place we found after I got my current copy, it works). I'll make it cheaper than GameStops price, I just want to get something from it (which knowing GameStop, I'll get $20 for it and then they'll sell it for $44.99). Better that it goes to some one who will play it, care for it well, feed it, change the paper, ect.
On that note, Tekken 6 is very good, too. And if you're feeling crazy one day, every GameStop has eight billion copies of Guilty Gear 2 (but of course, none of the other ones
) for $20...

Re: Video Game Progress Thread
Thinking about getting a PC so I can get RPG maker so I can make an Orbahlen game with it.
Playing through Jak II again. My brother's trying to and keeps dying. Reminds me of my first playthrough with the game. I thought it was insane. At some point, I got l33t skillz at it and now its like riding a favorite bicycle.
Nico, I looked it up, and you weren't lying: there is a game called Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier coming out.
Cue massive amounts of drooling and nerdgasming. I plan to go grab the Precursor Legacy and beat it one more time in preparation, as well as getting Daxter and Jak X now that I have 1.) a PSP and 2.) money that I don't need to immediately spend on mycrack WoW subscription.

Wow, lots of cool nerding going on here. Myself as far as video games, I'm probably most likely getting a nintendo DSi for cristmas along with several other games like spirit tracks and ace attourney-edgeworth. Not really much I can add though, that is of course, as long as the professor Layton series picks up translation and gets here sooner, game three yay.

I've now seen Hazama'a and Tsubaki's Astral Finishes, and listened to Hazama's theme start to finish. After I listen to Tsubaki's theme, I can commit IB brand senpuku a happy, though dreadfully tired man.

Re: Video Game Progress Thread
Patch 3.3 for World of Warcraft goes live tomorrow.
Players will finally begin the assault on Icecrown Citadel, setting aside their petty differences (aside from one teeny insignificant battle between two absolutely massive and heavily armed airships) to take the fight to the true threat.
Once the assault has managed to penetrate the defenses of the citadel, said players will confront the Lich King directly.
And we will punch his goddamned face in.

To make the first post on here in quite a while, I finally beat Resident Evil 5 on Veteran. It was a long three days full of dying, profanity and lack of faith in god, but in the end, rocket launchers finally prevailed.
(Seriously, three fights in a row against Wesker)
I took up Killer7. It's a game unlike any I've ever played. It's the kind of game that take all your preconceived notions of gaming, rolls them into a ball and uses it as a ball gag while it spanks you. All in Cell-Shading.
Also, I sense Fail

Which one?
This one?
Also, seeing as I did beat Resident Evil 5 on Veteran, I expect a party thrown for me. Soon.

Pff, whatever. Beat I Wanna Be the Guy and we'll talk.
I'm playing Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. It's just as excellent, if not more excellent, than what I've come to expect from Insomniac Games. My favorite weapons so far: A glove that launches ravenous plasma beasts which absolutely ANNIHILATE everything in their path, and a shotgun that shoots radioactive crystal spikes. Which you can see sticking to your enemies afterward.
DELICIOUS.
