Comic commenting system

Post by Demurrersurprise »

I am curious if there is a way to have a commenting system associated with each comic we post? For example Kukuburi has a way to just enter a name, email, and post a quick comment for each comic they post. I am seeing that more and more around, which commonly eliminates the need for a forum. Since I do smaller comics, that might be more appropriate. Is there a way to do this, or discussion of adding at some point? :eyebrow:

And might I add--Haloscan works wonderfully. The linked tutorial is great and easy to set up a comment system with. I have it set so that you can click to open their popup rather than embedding it, which I think is more aestetically pleasing... and any comments on any of my comics, I can check out by going to their site and 'manage comics'. You can ban people, delete posts, edit posts, they have a very reasonable character count limit, you can have a five star rating system if you want... all in all, works really well. I recommend it.
