Can't login using an FTP.

I can login fine using siteadmin, but I want to change my html files, so I've been trying to login via ftp lately. It hasn't been working. When I do try and login, the response I get is this:

Command: USER Londonunderground
Response: 331 User Londonunderground OK. Password required
Command: PASS ******
Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Could not connect to server

Is there something wrong with the system, or am I being stupid?

Usually it'd be because you've logged into the Forum as londonunderground instead of Londonunderground.

Log out of the forum, log back in with Londonunderground and try again. That ought to let you in...

It's still not working, I've tried logging in using both Filezilla and Cuteftp and I'm getting the same logging in problem.

Uh - hang on - are you using your forum details or your FTP details to log in?

I used londonunderground.comicgenesis.com as the server. Londonunderground as my username, and the same password I'd use for siteadmin. It's been a long time since I've had to use FTP, I think that was the details I used before, I couldn't find anything else about it on the spacer's gear.

The password that you use for SiteAdmin is your forum username and password. Your FTP password might not be the same. If you are not and want it to be different or want to make sure that it is the same as your forum password then use these instructions to make the changes.

Also you need to use the capital "L" for logging into the forum and SiteAdmin but I'm pretty sure that it does not matter for FTP. Though just to be sure, you should use your FTP username, which is the name of your comic which is londonunderground with a lower case l at the start.
