Processing new comics.

Post by Kerny mantis »

I once remember visiting a section of the site containing all the comics being processed before they were approved and the owner given their site. I can't for the life of me remember what is was called, or where it was. Can anyone jog my memory?

Thanks in advance. :)

I didn't know about that page.

Are those the latest people who have registered on Comic Genesis? If so, does that mean that someone who has signed up can see if their application went through because they would appear on that list? That would be a really handy feature and i don't see why it would never before have been mentioned in the Gear or in the Wiki...

I'm pretty sure that's how it works yeah, then once they have their account I think they don't appear anymore. I remember finding this page way back when I started out but can't remember how now, had to do a search on Google to find it.

It's always fun to look over the new submissions and try to guess which ones will never make it past three comics.

I'm still sad that Penis Wars never lived past it's sample.

I'd wager guessing which ones will is the greater challenge...

Generally, the page isn't supposed to be widely visible since it may attract unwanted critique. The page actually existed to facilitate removing questionable or dangerous comics, but has since moved away from that as proactive policing, legally would mean that we do moderate the site as a whole, which really we do not. It was plausible when there was 2000 comics, it's not when there's 10000.

Comics don't disappear from the list unless removed, so if you don't enter the verification code, then it will disappear from the list in 14 days.
