About signature banners [solved]

Post by Orinocou »

I feel really silly asking this question, but I need some help...

I logged onto the CG forums last week after a rather lengthy hiatus. Suddenly, I see that the signature banner which holds a link to my site is no longer working. The code I am using follows thusly:

Code: Select all

<a href="http://ff6comic.comicgenesis.com"><img src="http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l91/orinocou/coldbnr200x40.jpg"</a>
I know how to post an image: Image
And a URL: http://ff6comic.comicgenesis.com

It's putting the two together that's giving me problems. I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I am sure there's going to be a facepalmably simple solution, but I am not getting it. Can someone help?

Yeah, html seems to have been disabled in the upgrade to phpBB3. You need to use BBcode now, like so (click "quote" to see the code):

Your code above would be this in the BBCode:

Code: Select all

[url=http://ff6comic.comicgenesis.com][img]http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l91/orinocou/coldbnr200x40.jpg[/img][/url]

Ah, now I understand. And now I have my link-banner working again. Thank you so much, guys! I really do appreciate your help. :)
