Jed says stop double-posting, but I didn't even think about editing the first one until he said something. So I won't do it again. 'Sides, now it's a TRIPLE post! :)

- Use markers
- Draw a door on the wall.
- Write "Exit" on it.
- Use magic spell from Gurps book to incite some magic spell that would make the drawing real.
- Walk through door to Exit.

**Seeing this big ol' image twice is freakin' me out maan**

(Well, not so much that as, "That'd be waay too easy, and while I'm all for clever ideas, there's no way I'm gonna let this game end so soon.")

I'll continue things sometime tomorrow.

(He did it anyway with the next image. It was "Walk to Sun" and then the character started complaining and then BAM... done.)
(Besides, there is nothing that says an unexpected result happens.)

Existence is a series of catastrophes through which everything barely but continually survives.

Code: Select all

10 Lay out clothes of the Civil War soldier
20 Use GURPS magicbook to cast Animate Object
30 Get Animated Clothes to carry Skull Head Boy to the other entrance to the Tunnels of DOOM!
The name of the place just screams super fun happy place - so let's get in there! Again! Apostrophe! One! Another Apostrophe!

HMM...I'm just not seeing a "turn drawings into irl things" spell in this book.

...Oh, but what's this? Could it be...

Image

...MAGIC MISSILE?!

Let's just see what the unbranded shit can do then, shall we?

(This calls for WIIDESCREEEEN action!)
Image
(I just couldn't get that pose dynamic enough. :( )

...I thought magic missile was a first level spell?

(Actually, Gurps basic doesn't even have magic missile in it*, nor does it have traditional levels. I just made that up...)

Anyways: Looks like you won't be going up the way you came. Maybe there's a way around, though! Plus, looks like something was behind the stairs anyway.
ReFreodNez wrote:Seriously though, check out that stairwell.

By that I mean the one to the right which you have not been through yet.

Sounds like a broken pipe down there. You should be able to see through the fog at least somewhat if you continue along this path.

(Sorry that took so long! Mom called.)

Your turn.

*Looks like someone came up with magic missile rules for GURPS. It's normally pretty weaksauce, as you can see!

Looks like my "animate object" suggestion isn't going to work, so I'll replace it with:

Code: Select all

10 Remove skull from head
20 Perform scene from Shakespeare's MacBeth

Descend the stairs a bit to see if you can tell what is ahead.

Sorry about no update today, I had a busy day learning about matlab! (Matlab* is badass by the way.)

I'll try updating things tomorrow. We'll see how things go from there!

*Actually, I was mostly using octave, GNU's matlab clone. It's moar badass cause it's actually on my computer.

No. You lie. :x Well, maybe not, but it's loads better than trying to make Excel do things for me, anyway.

Edit: Sorries, another long day today. I'll set the project aside to at least draw another page or so tomorrow. PROMISE

(After that, if things are still slow I might set this aside until ArenaBattle's over.)

That's okay - unfinished projects are what got us where we are today.

And there's always thread necromancy five years down the track... :D

XD

I broke my promise, as you can tell. Got a pretty gnarly homework assignment*...but I'll probably get something up this weekend. Probably. I got taxes too. :( Also, parties. 8-)

*First assignment from my first design class. I'm not used to having to make assumptions! It shouldn't be too bad, except for that I was too tired to do math properly and so spun my wheels. Oh well, it happens!
