The Radcliffe pitch

Post by Salyavin »

Now after six months it seems that it is time to actually pitch my comic.

In a 19th century London haunted by werewolf's, vampires, evil magicians, demons and inquisitioners (and some other things) Radcliffe is the explorer of the mysterious and the downright weird.

Radcliffe is a mundane fantasy set in well the late 19th century London obviously, I can't really think of that much more to say about it so instead I suggest you read it.

Hmm, puts me in mind of Stickleback from 2000AD, ever read? similar style of art even, though tooth's is more polished (as it would be XD)

Some of the font use is a little... "difficult" though. Besides that "olde worlde" font is more medievil, to look at what sort of fonts where really used in the 1890's, look at a few of the cover scans of the time here: http://www.sextonblake.co.uk/
I MAKE MANY COMICS / Some are on paper! / Used to have one on Keenspace too...

Thanks for the tip I'll definitely have a look at it, the font was basically chosen because I thought it looked nice.
