Fractured Comics

Post by Stank »

Fractured Comics is the love child of William Duke: Writer, Artist, Lunatic. The current comic is Radioactive Nerds, a super-hero parody about a group of average nerds that come in contact with radioactive wastes. Past projects include The Nerdening, a one-shot full length comic that must be read to be comprehended (and even then good luck).

Great art, though the truck in the current one looks a little deformed, nice and cartoony, but the wheels on the cab look out of place, like they arent attatched...

I do like the people's faces, you can tell who different people are... wish i could do that. Also the faces remind me of traditional British comics like Commando, and there's nowhere near enough stuff drawn like that around.

Speech bubbles are a little confusd though, all crammed together... sometimes a little decompression and spreading out of things into more panels IS good

...actually, the actual panel your preview image is taken from reminds me of "Student Grant" out of Viz XD
I MAKE MANY COMICS / Some are on paper! / Used to have one on Keenspace too...

Thanks for the comments! I'm glad you liked it.

The comic script originally had this beast at thirty pages, but I toned and tweaked it down to an (estimated) 20 page running length. Because of that some panels may seem a little cramped. Live and learn, though. Next issue I will cover less material, so the problem is being corrected. It will just take some time...

As for the truck? Well the blessing of my style is that I am allowed a little levity on any mistakes. I don't feel it's too much of a distraction, and in fact it adds to the chaotic nature of the panel, so I won't be correcting it. Good eye though.
