Is it hyperbole-related?

Got myself a ceiling fan, though.

I've never to my knowledge met a Joel Fagin fan.
This webcomic, seen here is hosted on the free web host Comic Genesis which pretty much proves its not popular.
Oh noes! Read all about the tormented artist I am!

Not counting cons, I met a guy at a costume party who'd heard of Keenspot, but that's about it. He was dressed as Dr Who, but it was the Tennant version, so cool points were lost.

Haha. Ouch. I'll never know what makes people dislike him so. He's on all the magazine covers so I figured he must have been liked considering he's on one of the biggest shows on the planet.

The fans, or the books?

Tennant is a charming actor, alas of the kind that has somewhat limited range. I assume that if he's popular, it's due to his Brittish charm more than acting abilities, much like Hugh Grant.
If Dr.Who talk on this forum is any measure, then I assume that people don't dislike him so much, it's just that they think that he's a wrong choice for Dr.Who.

Yup...went to a guy's house I didn't even know that well and it turned out his 12 year old sister was a fan. Was flattering and odd all at the same time. I drew her a Shandy and an Angsty.

I've since discovered this is apparently the comic's target demographic as a couple other girls of about the same age have sent me feedback online. Look out Bratz...you're about to be replaced!

Due to the fact that they've just finnished the Ecclestone season over here (with "just" I mean about six months ago) I havn't seen that much of Tennants Doctor, but going after what little I have seen on the net he seems promessing.

Also, you all make me wish that i actually had fans.
A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

I'm still surprised enough that I have two fans who post on my tagboard and forum...It'd be pretty strange to randomly meet one in real life!

As for Dr. Who...I quite like Tennant. Then again, aside from Harry Potter 4, it's the only thing I've ever seen him in.

Eh, they're alright for a while, until they begin demanding things out of you. Like updates.

And pr0n. People keep asking yeahduff for lesbian action for some reason. I've been asked too. I think many of us have been asked to draw pr0n.

Well, there was that other guy you got an email from too. Unless that was also Lego.

It's happened. Not every other week or anything, but enough to be amused, flattered, and tempted.
