Silly Old Comics

Post by Dr Legostar »

So Amanda's mom gave us all of these old random comic books that used to belong to her and to amanda and we were digging through them and in general wondering if some of them might be worth something, mind you most of them are like "daisy and donald duck" and "love stories" and other strange stuff. Do any of you know a good place we might be able to get them appraised? also, for your entertainment here's a scan of the cover and first page of probably the most hilarious comic we found in the pile.

Lancelot Link: Secret Chimp!
He works for the Agency to Prevent Evil, in case you were wondering.

Based on those scans, I very strongly doubt they're worth anything.

If you were in Ontario, I would direct you to my friend who owns a comic store, but instead I'll ask him if he can recommend anyone. Though he will probably say "Just check the Overstreet price guide."

Donald Duck ones might actually be worth something... you'll want to check some price guides, most definitely.

I was really hoping for a Legend of Zelda Camelot parody before I scrolled and saw monkeys.

Or a close second... course I never read the comics or seen the show. but I think it looks great.

It would probably be worth a bit in the right market. not comics people, but people who collect weird kid stuff from the 70's.

btw here's the Wikipedia entry if your not familiar with the show.

<KittyKatBlack> You look deranged. But I mean that in the nicest way possible. ^_^;
