None of MY NEW pages load

Post by Keyoko »

Hey

I already read the posts from others who seem to have the probelm but it doesnt seem to be the templates or anything out of place. I named them right like 20070703 but it doesn't show. I have a lot of pages on my site like one fpr each day is there like a limit. I posted the cover for episode 4 them a few days ago i posted pages 1-4 on episode 4 but now there gone. only cover 4 remains and none of the new will come. My comic is Infinite Souls if any one can tell me what i'm doing wrong i'd really appreicate it.

Thanks Keyoko

You named your comic pages that or your web pages that? A link to your site would be nice so we can see exactly what's not working. Also, just to be safe, a few questions:
1. What are your templates called?
2. Where are they located?
3. Where are you uploading your comic pages to?
4. What code are you using to display the comics? (It's ***todays_comics***. Note the S at the end.)

Plus there's always the chance that it's the whole server thing that's been going on lately, but I think that's pretty close to resolved, so maybe not. Get back to us with an answer to those questions and a link to your comic site and we'll be happy to assist further.

I think it may have something to do with the server.

I've uploaded the new comic today, went to the old siteadmin and launched the update. Yet the new page doesn't show up.

If i check the ftp, however, everything is like if the comic updated regularly (with the files moved from workspace to public).
So i can assume that the comic viewable online is actually the backup on the new server, while the one i updated is still on the old one.

I'm uploading all my comics with smartFtpclient. I do it through manual update cause i have no idea how site admin works. My templates are

dailytemplate.html indextemplate.html and they can be found in workspace

here's a link

http://keyoko.comicgen.com/ thats for most recent
http://keyoko.comicgen.com/d/20070319.html and this is the fist one.

Thanks so much for responding

Please just be patient for some time.
I think there's nothing wrong on your side, the problem is just related with the moving servers. It will be all fixed soon!

Yeah, I lost an update too. Your ftp settings are probably fine, and Jops is probably right with the ftp and siteadmin still being hooked up to the old server. I'm sure Kisai and everyone will have it back up and running soon enough.

What's weird for me is that my last update was a week ago, and earlier today it looked fine. Now it's gone and I'm seeing the previous week's strip!

More fun than you should ever have in a laboratory. We are not related to the Bratz toy line owned by MGA.

kelly is supposed to be running a sync script to copy over everything that changed, but the issue is that it may overwrite the html files since autokeen is active on both servers.
