What are the rules on the ComicGen wiki? I'm familiar with Wikipedia, which has rather strict rules, and others that have virtually none. So, I'm mostly wondering where the CGwiki falls.
On a specific note, are authors encouraged or discouraged from editing wiki entries about their comics?

Re: Wiki rules
The editing guidelines are here; compared to the likes of Wikipedia, they err more on the side of lax.
You're very much encouraged if your comic is hosted on Comic Genesis. In fact, logging into siteadmin will allow you to go straight to your comic's wiki entry("Your comic" WIKI data), ready for editingKesh wrote:On a specific note, are authors encouraged or discouraged from editing wiki entries about their comics?

For your own comic, I'd say most definately.
There are too many comics for there to be a panel of "official" data entererers (?) so it's up to each author to do a write-up about their own comic.
If you see a spelling or layout mistake on someone else's, I don't see why you couldn't go ahead and fix that. Or if there is a comic that you read often that has a small wiki entry, you could probably go ahead and enter some stuff, then advise the author and let them know.
