"Ugh! Gnomes!" Korgan rolls his eyes and mutters, "Burrowers always think like a mole and not like a miner. Rowan, gimmie the torch so you and Terra kin get 'im out!" Korgan pulls the door open the rest of the way and jams his foot against it while watching over Jacob.

Jakob, still waiting, metagame for the results of his search check, decides to take up crochet, but suddenly relises his lack of crocheing tools, so he searches the floor for pressure plates again.

Jakobs' previous search attempt was only a visual examination of the door because the Zombold was still there. However, with the Zombold dead, a more thorough search can be made: (1d20+6=13)On the other side of the door is more of the same stone floor as the entrance chamber. You don't detect any irregularities, although you could always step on them...
Korgan is holding the door into the next room open with his foot.
Jakobs' second search check: (1d20+6=19)While I'm afraid further searching will reveal nothing until more information is obtained, you do detect some slight irregularities in the floor, although that is more instinct than anything else.
Ellimists' results will come in about twenty minutes. I'll try to remember, but feel free to remind me when that is up.

Rowan stops heaving at the door as a little lantern appears above his head for a second. He sets the door gently back against the battered shield and sword, then reaches down to his pack and grabs his crowbar.
Turning to the door, he wedges the crowbar into the hinge of the door and starts to wrench.
"Screw this. I'm a fighter, and subtlety just ain't my bag, baby. Rather than have any more people trapped in these ruins to their death, I'm going to remove this danger once and for all."
((Rowan will attack the door until he pops the hinges off so the door won't shut anymore. He will work at it until successful, hoping that others will take up his example.))
"*Grunt* What would Kord say about using strength as a solution in this case, eh Korgan?"

It is at this point that Jakob, almost comically oblivous to Rowan in the other room, walks ten feet down that hallway, turns around, and walks back to see if anything happened to the doors.

"Know what to hit with your fist and what to hit with your foot." Korgan recites to Rowan. "You don't pick up a barbell from the end, don't pry it off the hinges. It'll be better to snap the hinges by hitting them with something. how do you know there are hinges anyway?" Korgan looks over at the door Rowan is messing with as Jacob steps into the hallway.
Just to be clear, Korgan is standing in the way of the door. If it scoots his foot then he'll just be leaning on it with a shoulder to keep it open. He's holding the torch high in front of him with his left hand so Jacob has some light and so do the other humans in the room.
(Korgan's commentary about stone doors comes from the dwarven stonecunning bonuses and not engineering know how)

Quick-fix update for something I missed: See Simon Search for more Switches: (1d20+6=24)You find no method of opening the door from this side, save for brute force.

Terra put her scimitar away afterall it looked like any for of life or undead that would attack the party was gone for now. She rubbed her hands together and headed toward the door that Simon got stuck behind and starts to use brute force to open it again. She noticed that Rowan was pretty much attacking the door and said to him, "do you need help I can pull the door open while you continue to pound on the other areas of the door."

Simon is disappointed there doesn't seem to be any further way to access the mechanism from inside the room than from outside, but then if there was it wouldn't be much of a trap, now would it?
Listening to the others outside debate about the best way to open the door, Simon shakes his head and moves over to the connecting wall between his prison and Ellimist's. He pulls one of his daggers out its sheath and taps on the wall with the hilt, checking to see if he can communicate with the trapped druid in some way.

Simple Simon met a pieman going to the fair;
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Let me taste your ware."
Said the pieman to Simple Simon "Show me first your penny."
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Sir, I have not any!"
Half-elves and golems and nymphs, oh my!

Rowan wrenching at the door, Terra assisting: (1d20+2=3, 1d20+3=21)Eh, seems to me the best roll would be the one that gets the assist. Although it is rather difficult, you manage to break the first hinge.
Hinge #2 (1d20+3=5, 1d20+2=10)Hinge #2 (1d20+3=16, 1d20+2=17)Breaks on the second try.
Hinge #3: (1d20+3=7, 1d20+2=18)Hinge #3: (1d20+3=6, 1d20+2=4)Hinge #3: (1d20+3=5, 1d20+2=11)Hinge #3: (1d20+3=7, 1d20+2=3)Hinge #3: (1d20+3=21, 1d20+2=3)The third hinge breaks. With a loud 'BAM!!!' the door falls down.
Jakob: I really need to get better at describing rooms people aren't in yet but can see. I think my brain is set too much on 'Roguelike'. Anyway, it's a circular room, about forty feet across, with three other doors leading off.
Above the leftmost one is a cog decoration; the middle one is decorated with a carving of a flame of darkness; the decoration on the rightmost one is a dire rat.
Korgan finds the door quite forcefull for just a foot.
The frame is stone. Breaking the hinges was thus nessasary.
As mentioned, Ellimist can hear Simon tapping.
Ellimist has about ten minutes to go in his searching.
I think that's all.

Jakob studiously examines the room with his eyes, commiting every possible detail to his "Rogue Notebook", that being, his memory.
He then Turns his ears towards the next room, and peers into dark corners, looking for threats of any kind.
If the coast is clear, The rogue then proceeds to slink into the shadows, and walk softly towards the door with the flame of darkness searching the floor in fron of him for any irregularities, and stopping if any are discovered.
If the coast is not clear, he returns to his companions.

Korgan laughs as the door slams to the ground. "There ya go! That's done... you found anything in the Jacob?" Korgan looks into the room and on the edge of his darkvision Jacob seems to be trying to peek into the next room. "Hey! you're supposed to be trying to rescue the druid, Nightbreeze! Get back over here before you get yourself killed." Korgan adjusts his foot and leans against the door with his hip and elbow to keep it from slipping.

Jakob: Spot: (1d20+6=14)You step on a tile which depresses slightly.
The three remaining doors woosh open. Reflex save: DC 15: (1d20+3=16)Rowan manages to dodge out of the way.
(Bit of a Rube Goldberg how the trap got triggered in the first place, but it was a rather random event)

Korgan is about to yell at Jacob for activating a trap when the doors pop open, but then realizes that he had just told the rogue to help free Ellimist and Nightbreeze had done that exactly that. Korgan grimaces suspiciously at Jacob and draws his mace while still holding his position at the heavy door.
