On a more serious note, I'm trying to leave the Captain's actual speaking/communicating ability up in the air.

The cue-card idea was swiped from one Genma Saotome, because I didn't want to slog through miming or charades every time the Dandy wanted to say something, and by golly I'm writing a comedy here so I can use a really easy cop-out every once in a while

In Vampire Hunter D, a young boy says that when people don't talk it means one of two things: Either they're busy planning incredible evil, or they only speak when necessary in the intrest of great good.
I kinda thing the Captain does both at the same time.

Are the glowing red eyes just indicators of the anger of Millennium vampires? I am not so sure if the eyes of the Captain's body would glow red due to being a lycanthrope.

Jon Steward is God. But does that mean that Colbert is some sort of Jesus? 'Cause that would be really messed up.

Fellow Carlin fan? You're suppose to worship Joe, but pray to the sun. Unless you're a Frisbeetarianist, of course.
