50 States Comic Jam

Post by Fading Aura »

Winter, a local cartoonist and member of MidMo CoCo (Mid-Missouri Comics Collective), is starting a project he calls the 50 States Jam. He wants his character, Izzy, to visit all 50 states, and it's up to you to decide what he's doing in your state! It costs nothing but time to participate, and you get a free copy of the finished book of Izzy's travels through the 50 states when all is said and done.

I'd participate myself, but Missouri is already taken care of. ;)

The full details can be found at this website: http://winterizer.pbwiki.com/50%20states%20jam

Here we stand, here we fall; history don't care at all. Make the bed, light the light; Lady Mercy won't be home tonight.

We only have six states... and two territories.

And a few dependent islands floating around the Pacific and Indian and Southern Oceans...
Remember when your imagination was real? When the day seemed
longer than it was, and tomorrow was always another game away?

Seven and one, actually. NT is a state now - they just didn't want to actually change the name.

Hmm... you sure on that? I know it's got it's own government and all... but we're still saying seven points on the Federation Star, one for each state and the seventh for the territories. I know they were talking about putting an eighth point on the Federation star though. Until they remembered their Australian character and realised changing all those flags was too much like hard work...

I think so. It was all over the news a while back but maybe they decided to leave things as is.

27 states is just fine.
This webcomic, seen here is hosted on the free web host Comic Genesis which pretty much proves its not popular.

Wikipedia still calls it a territory, for what that's worth.

Hey, guys, you know that's great and all, but FA wasn't asking details about where you live, she was asking for help for this project for her friend. You're more than welcome to start your own projects for Australia or Finland or Canada, but stop screwing around in this one.

I'm sure Winter has a list but it's probably not someone from CG. Quite a few of these states were taken by the time I posted this. Still, you could always e-mail Winter (winterizer@mm.st) and find out, or, even better, jump on the back up list. :D
