Last year when I was updating, I was at around 3000 visits a month, which to me was freakin awesome. I had an ad on Sexy Losers though so I guess it was kind of cheating. Then I stopped for a year due to military junk. Kind of back, almost over 1000 visits for January since I finally cracked the 1 update a month barrier. >_<

I'm not sure how many people read my comic, but stats show that, even though I didn't update once in all 2006, the site had a daily average of 60-70 hits. Last month, I averaged close to 160 hits a day; although I check the site at least once a day to see if it updates and to read any comments on the shoutbox.

Not always Vort, I know a lot of people will just check back once a week or once a month if a comic is updating irregularly.Vorticus wrote: Of course they do. Irregular updates means checking the site every day to see if something went up. Hiatus means you can check back once a month, if that. Lazier option always wins.
I am happy to hear this. Because this new EOI rocks me so hard, I cry out for seconds while it slaps me down and calls me "Muffin"Sortelli wrote:Three months sounds about right. I can't get into my 2004 logs to be sure, but I think I'm at or close to my old daily average now.

Yeahhh. Actually, I update irregularly, and make that pretty widely-known, but I find that my hits drop off really quickly if I don't update within five~ish days. It's as if people figure I've gone off into hiatus-land.K-Dawg wrote:Not always Vort, I know a lot of people will just check back once a week or once a month if a comic is updating irregularly.Vorticus wrote: Of course they do. This webcomic, seen here is hosted on the free web host Comic Genesis which pretty much proves its not popular.

I'm in the same boat. Don't have too many readers and really haven't looked into good publicity yet. *sigh* Soon, though. Soon. Maybe then I'll have enough readers to go on hiatus.
