I've been thinking of getting a tablet pc as a secondary machine, since I seem to be inclined towards working on art in places like work, my parents' basement, or other places where my computer is not. I've looked at a few models, but I kind of want to hear from some people who are actually using them on what they think... anyone around here have first-hand experience with one?
(And yes, I know that "laptop + tablet" is a cheaper option, but doesn't quite fit what I'm looking for...)
Anyone use a Tablet PC?

I use one, and have become enamored by them, in fact I'm about of the mindset that I will not use any other kind of computer (yeah in reality I will but not if I have a choice)
my first tablet was an Acer C100 it was a good little tablet but severely limeted, no internal CD/DVD drive only had a Pentium 2 and 216 Mg of RAM, 10 inch screen, 1 and a half hour battery life and parts burned out very easily first the wifi antennal, then the keyboard, then one USB port, then the power supply, and finally the monitor broke
I'm currently using a Toshiba Satelite R20, and I LOVE this thing, internal CD/DVD RW drive, 512 Mg RAM (upgradable to 2 Gig) Pentium M, 3 USB ports, SD card slot, PCMCIA slot 80 gig hard drive 19 inch screen four hour battery life, very sturdy, even has a slot to hold the tablet pen stylus, my only complaint about it is it's pretty heavy, but with all the features that's to be expected
