Okay. Here's what I want to do.
I want to have a short blurb, a caption not unlike those appearing under "Bruno the Bandit" daily (okay, a little longer) beneath each of my comics.
I wrote to Mr. McDonald and he responded nicely telling me what he did (a file named captions.txt in his data folder, listing imagefilename-space-caption for all of his comics)...but that's not working for my comic.
I tried adding ***todays_caption*** (it's listed in the source code of the taglossary, so I thought it worth a shot), but that didn't work either.
Yes, I've updated. I updated all of the files, just in case. No go.
So, is there some mysterious tag that will pull captions from a captions.txt and put it on the page? Is there another way to do this?
The URL, as always, is http://godeatgod.keenspace.com - and thanks!
[This message has been edited by mokie (edited 07-04-2001).]

This *should* work, but don't blame me if I'm imagining it all:
Just name your comics YYYYMMDDa.gif and write the blurbs in text files called YYYYMMDDb.html. The blurb will be insterted under the comic, along with any html and/or autokeen tags you may wish to put in the file.
------------------
