Hi, I've got kind of a weird problem...I've uploaded new comics to my FTP site, but they just won't show up. Also, I've made changes onmy indexpage that won't show up no matter how many times I do the indexupdate. I've even tried deleting my entire site, but I still just see the same old page It's almost like... it's frozen in time!:)
Anyone else having this problem?

Ay, no link makes it much harder to spot the problem.
Possible issues:
1) Your comic images aren't properly named with the date format;
2) Your indextemplate.html and dailytemplate.html are in workspace/webpages instead of straight in the workspace folder, where they belong;
3) You have an extra index.html in your workspace/webpages folder;
4) Do a hard refresh, as suggested above;
5) Give your site more than 30 seconds after you've clicked "update" to actually return the new page.

I actually have a similar problem, though I'm a tad newer. My webcomic's first update isn't showing, though it might be because I put 20061205 as its name... I requested a regular update, but no dice... How do I make it appear, or, if I wait, it'll appear tomorrow?

"Today" and "Tomorrow" are subjective, depending on where on the planet you are and which side of the international date line.
If you look at the settings for your comic, there should have been an option marked as 'time offset' or something where you can specify what time of day you want the update to run.
Generally speaking, if you've added a comic with today (or tomorrow's) date, then it won't update until the offset time on the specified day is reached. In the instance that you trigger an update, then it will update straight away, but remember that it will go by the date in the US (where the server is).
Seeing as they are directly above you, the timezone and date difference should be negligible, but if it's 11.30pm on the fourth and you trigger an update and your comic is marked as being for the fifth, then it won't be added.

New strip MIA...
I'm having a bit of a similar problem (also being a newbie): new strips aren't showing up. I've looked at some of the other solutions on here, but my templetes were in the right place, and AutoKeen has done it's job and placed comics that were in the /workspace/comics folder into the /public_html/comics folder, but it's simply not showing up on my site. I've tried linking directly to the comic, but that hasn't helped either. Also, I've tried some changes to the index page, but, when it didn't work, changed it back to the default. Could anyone help?

Strip no longer missing
Disregard above post. For some reason, an hour of fretting over it all was suddenly solved with yet another manual upload. Don't know if I was expecting changes to be immediant or it was a glitch.
I think it's because I expect computers to bow down to my awesome powers and run at speeds at which they're incapable. So, problem solved.
